    Abstract: A transparent specimen cutting method is provided using ultrafast laser and a dicing device for machining the transparent specimen. The cutting method includes forming a focal point by generating and focusing an ultrafast laser beam which has a pulse width of 10 fs-10 ps from a laser source and a center wavelength corresponding to the bandwidth of a transparent specimen, transmitting energy to the inside of the transparent specimen using the focused pulse laser beam by positioning the focal point of the pulse laser beam such that the focal point is positioned in an inner area on the inside of the both side surfaces of the transparent specimen, and generating and propagating cracks by relatively moving the focal point or the transparent specimen along a cut line in a desired shape such that cracks are propagated on the transparent specimen at a distance from the movement line of the focal point.

Therefore, the Moire phenomenon that may be generated between the electrode pattern of the touch panel and the pixel pattern of the display unit coupled to the touch panel may be prevented.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining phase sensitivity of an accelerometer based on an analysis of the harmonic components of the interference signal, which can estimate phase lags of an accelerometer through an analysis of the interference signal obtained using a single photo-detector when the accelerometer moves in sinusoidal motion with an initial phase of vibration. The method comprises the steps of obtaining an interference signal in a time domain generated from a signal reflected by an accelerometer and a fixed mirror using a single photo-detector; transforming the interference signal in the time domain into a signal in a frequency domain including a plurality of harmonic signals by Fourier transform; and determining the phase sensitivity of the accelerometer using initial phase of vibration displacement of the accelerometer, which is included in the interference signal in the frequency domain.

The interferometer measures a measurement target by completely isolating influences of externally occurring vibrations from a frequency domain. The interferometer includes a light source unit for emitting light. A light transmission unit radiates the light emitted from the light source unit to the measurement target, splits light reflected from the measurement target into reference light and measurement light, and allows the reference light and the measurement light to interfere with each other, thus generating an interference fringe. A continuous phase scanning unit for radiates the reference light split by the light transmission unit through continuous phase scanning.

Accordingly, the modulation rate of the carrier can be increased and the bandwidth can be extended with the related art polar transmitter. Therefore, the polar transmitter is applicable to the wideband communications, the multi-mode, and the multi-band.
