  • Patent number: 9406076
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium for dynamic contact information assignment. A pool of telephone numbers is assigned to a pool manager. The pool manager allocates subsets of the telephone numbers to a plurality of allocators that are each responsible for allocating telephone numbers to an associated group of content sponsors. An allocator can determine an allocation of a subset of the telephone numbers for distribution among the content sponsors associated with the allocator. Pools of telephone numbers can be created that are each associated with a respective content sponsor associated with the allocator. One or more telephone numbers can be reclaimed from a pool. A reclaimed telephone number can be assigned by the allocator into either other pools associated with the allocator or back to the pool manager for allocation to other allocators.

  • Publication number: 20160199066
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to devices implantable into a human lung, for example to reduce the volume of air trapped in a diseased portion of the lung to prevent inhalation while permitting expiration out of the diseased portion. In some embodiments, the device comprises a distal portion with an anchor system that may anchor the device into tissue of an air passageway wall, and the distal portion may be connected to a proximal portion via a flexible portion that permits the distal portion to articulate substantially with respect to the proximal portion, such that the distal portion and the proximal portion may be non-collinear along a longitudinal axis of the distal portion. This may facilitate implantation of the device into a non-linear air passageway.

  • Publication number: 20160191699
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus include computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium for dynamic telephone number assignment. A method includes: providing a content item to a user device, the content item including a control for initiating a call to a content sponsor associated with the content item; assigning a telephone number from a pool to the content item; receiving a control interaction indication; facilitating a connection between the user and the content sponsor based on the interaction; storing an association between a user identifier, the telephone number, and a content sponsor identifier such that future calls from the user to the telephone number can be routed to the content sponsor, even after the telephone number has been returned to the pool; and linking a content item impression with the connection such that a report can be generated that shows an effectiveness of the content item impression.

  • Patent number: 9358013
Abstract: An intra-bronchial device placed and anchored in an air passageway of a patient to collapse a lung portion associated with the air passageway. The device includes a support structure, an obstructing member carried by the support structure that reduces ventilation to the lung portion by preventing air from being inhaled into the lung portion, and at least one anchor carried by the support structure that anchors the obstruction device within the air passageway. The anchor may engage the air passageway wall by piercing or friction, include a stop dimensioned for limiting the piercing of the air passageway wall, and may be releasable from the air passageway for removal of the intra-bronchial device. The anchors may be carried by a peripheral portion of the support structure, or by a central portion of the support structure. The obstructing member may be a one-way valve.

  • Patent number: 8454708
Abstract: An implantable device for providing one-way flow of air through a lumen in a human lung to reduce the volume of air trapped in a diseased portion of the lung by occluding the lumen to prevent inhalation while permitting expiration out of the diseased portion. The implantable device is deployable in the lumen with a catheter. The device comprises an umbrella-shaped, one-way valve. The valve is collapsible for containment within a catheter and expandable in situ when deployed to occlude the lumen. The valve defines a longitudinal axis and comprises a plurality of metal struts, a resilient membrane, and a central post. The device further comprises an anchor for securing the implantable device within the lumen. The anchor comprises a tapered distal end for penetrating the wall of the lumen, and a planar member positioned to limit advancement of the anchor into the lumen. The implantable device further comprises a mechanism connecting the one-way valve to the anchor.

  • Patent number: 8252051
Abstract: A method of implanting a prosthetic mitral valve assembly is disclosed. The prosthetic mitral valve assembly includes a stent and valve combination. The prosthetic mitral valve assembly is provided with an anchoring portion adapted to be positioned in the left atrium. In one embodiment, the anchoring portion includes at least one anchoring arm sized for placement in a pulmonary vein. The stent is radially expandable so that it can expand into position against the walls of the left atrium and accommodate a wide range of anatomies. Contact between the stent and the native tissue in the left atrium reduces paravalvular leakage and prevents migration of the stent once in place.
