  • Patent number: 11942148
Abstract: Crossbar arrays perform analog vector-matrix multiplication naturally and provide a building block for modern computing systems. Specialized mixed-signal interface circuits are interfaced with the rows and columns of the crossbar arrays. During operation, the mixed-signal interface circuits provide high voltages for write operations and low voltages for read operations. This disclosure presents improved designs for the mixed-signal interface circuits which minimize the number of switches as well as the number level shifters.

  • Publication number: 20240030927
Abstract: A phase locked loop (PLL) includes a phase detector configured to receive a reference signal and a feedback signal, wherein the reference signal has a reference frequency, sample the feedback signal, and output a phase detection signal indicative of a phase of the feedback signal. A voltage controlled oscillator is configured to generate an output signal based on the phase detection signal. The output signal has an output frequency greater than the reference frequency.

  • Patent number: 11500192
Abstract: The present invention relates to a lens curvature variation apparatus. The lens curvature variation apparatus according to an embodiment is a lens curvature variation apparatus for varying a curvature of a liquid lens which is variable based on an applied electrical signal. The lens curvature variation apparatus includes a lens driver to apply the electrical signal to the liquid lens, a sensor unit to sense the curvature of the liquid lens formed based on the electrical signal, and a controller to control the lens driver to form a target curvature of the liquid lens based on the sensed curvature, wherein the lens driver supplies the electrical signal to the liquid lens according to a switching operation of a switching element, and includes a detection element connected to one end of the switching element, wherein the sensor unit senses an electrical signal detected by the detection element. Thereby, the curvature of the lens can be sensed quickly and accurately.

  • Publication number: 20220342635
Abstract: Crossbar arrays perform analog vector-matrix multiplication naturally and provide a building block for modern computing systems. In many applications, the weights stored in the crossbar array are learned off-line and then stored on embedded devices. After the weights are learned, they do not change. Since the weights do not change in these applications, this disclosure envisions a new implementation for the processing elements of the crossbar array.
