Abstract: A software-based mechanism for taking multimedia notes while using a mobile computing device is provided. The interface is stream-based so as to enable complete control with a text or numeric keypad, a directional pad, and command button. A note document containing textual data and objects representing other data types may be closed and revisited after it has been created. It may be either read or edited in a single session. Changes may be manually or automatically saved to the note document for ease of user experience.

Abstract: Methods, systems and computer products provide for applying metadata to documents and/or document objects in local and/or remote file storage systems. Application of metadata (flags) to documents and/or document objects allows a user to easily locate and utilize flagged items. A single metadata type, such as a colored flag, may be applied to documents or document objects of different file types across a file storage system to which data is stored via different software applications. Documents and/or document objects bearing like flags may be surfaced to a user in a flag summary with which documents and/or document objects may be sorted by flag type. Flagged documents or document objects related to a launched document may be listed in an information pane adjacent to the launched document.

Abstract: An active agenda tool is provided that may be executed at one or more networked computing devices. Each connected active agenda tool includes functionality for displaying an agenda interface and for maintaining agenda item timers. The agenda interface includes an agenda and various interactive controls. The agenda includes a plurality of editable agenda items, each having a corresponding agenda item timer maintained by the agenda tool for recording time dedicated to that agenda item during the meeting. Collateral content, which may be shared among the network computing devices, can be associated with one or more of the agenda items. Agenda data representing the displayed agenda items is changed each time a displayed agenda item is modified during the meeting. Any changes to the agenda data may be distributed to each of the networked computing devices, so that each connected agenda tool can update its agenda during the meeting.

Abstract: A method and system to share objects that may reside on different machines. These objects can be accessed and shared using a computer network such as the Internet. The objects can comprise computer programming objects, that may include but are not limited to, application programming interfaces (APIs), programming object libraries, computer program object definitions, and other like information for computer network based applications. The method and system do not require a computer server since the invention may operate more like a peer-to-peer or multipoint computer network. The method and system can work with both peer-to-peer networks and client-server networks without requiring computers in a network to be identified as servers or as non-server (client) type computers.
