  • Patent number: 11914440
Abstract: A system for consistently implementing reset and power management of IP agents on a System on a Chip (SoC). When IP agents undergo a reset, an individual negotiation takes placed between an interconnect and each IP agent over a link. Each IP agent can emerge from reset at its own time schedule, independently of the timing of the other IP agents. The interconnect may be configured as a proxy for any IP agent that is inoperable, including prior to reset, when in a power-down mode, or malfunctioning.

  • Publication number: 20200042936
Abstract: In one aspect, a computerized method useful for implementing employee shift or transportation load tracking with the step of embedding a webpage-creation markup language hyperlink into a text message. The hyperlink includes encoded details of the employee ID, shift start/end time and tracking frequency request and opens a web page with an embedded markup language call to a geolocation application programming interface (API). The method includes the step of communicating the text message to a driver of a delivery vehicle. The method includes the step of displaying the text message to the driver with a mobile device of the driver. The method includes the step of detecting with the mobile device that the driver accessed the hyperlink in the text message. • Publication number: 20150348214
Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, a method includes creating a virtual perimeter around a geographic region. The geographic region within the virtual perimeter is assigned a job-site number. A location of a user's mobile device is tracked. It is determined when a user enters the geographic region defined by the virtual perimeter. The time that the user is in the geographic region is recorded. The time the user is in the virtual perimeter can be assigned to a time sheet of the user as an employee of a company. It can be detected that the user has left the geographic region. The recording of the time that the user is in the geographic region can be ceased. The excused period to be outside the geographic region can be automatically determined from information in the user's mobile device calendar or in a list of assignments associated with the user. The geographic region can be a physical work site.

  • Patent number: 8802361
Abstract: The present invention provides a perfusion solution comprising specific metabolic agents, antioxidant agents, and membrane stabilizer agents that can help improve preservation, organ viability, and in some cases recover organs that would otherwise being unusable for transplantation. In a further embodiment, the perfusion solution can be used in combination with hypothermic machine perfusion. It has been found that combination of the perfusion solution and hypothermic machine perfusion can help prevent or reduce further damage to the organ and restore the organ's anti-oxidant system, stabilize the cellular cytoskeleton and cellular membranes, inhibit arachidonic acid pathway, provide oncotic support, reduce interstitial edema formation, and help restore energy stores within the organ. As a result, the method can be used to improve the viability of otherwise marginal donor organs.

  • Patent number: 8738417
Abstract: A method for product portfolio analysis includes selecting a set of solution points along a curve of order benefit as a function of the number of products in a product portfolio and performing a heuristic between an adjacent pair of solution points that approximates the curve between the adjacent pair of solution points. An apparatus that can perform the product portfolio analysis is also described.

  • Patent number: 8467894
Abstract: A method of managing product end of life over an end of life horizon includes the step of selecting an objective of either maximizing gross profit or minimizing writeoff costs for a selected plurality of products being discontinued. The products may have parts in common. A subset of all possible combinations of product demand levels is selected. Each combination is associated with a probability. A procurement plan that optimizes the selected objective is generated based on the selected subset of demand levels given a non-zero pre-existing inventory of at least some parts of the selected products.

  • Patent number: 8027905
Abstract: An initial external bid of an enterprise that is based on initial component bids of plural entities is received by a tool. The tool receives margin values representing margins acceptable to the entities. A new external bid is received that is different from the initial bid, and adjusted component bids of the plural entities are generated by the tool according to the new external bid and the margins of the entities.

  • Publication number: 20100281475
Abstract: Various embodiments of the disclosed invention include a design and development interface for mobile smartphone applications; the generation and delivery of content customized to the smartphone application execution platform; and the support of update functionality within the mobile applications. In one embodiment, a development environment provides templates via a website interface to easily create and design a smartphone application. This design interface can also be used to create updates for deployed smartphone applications. Within the mobile application, the application content is provided by XML data sets and non-textual data (such as images), and displayed within a set of modifiable containers. These containers and the data displayed within the containers may be updated and modified, enabling full customization of the application and its displayed content.
