  • Publication number: 20240097697
Abstract: A circuit can be configured to operate as a dual-trip point data slicer for serial demodulation. The circuit can include an input port configured to receive an input signal. The circuit can further include a first output port electrically coupled to the input port by a first circuit path. The circuit can further include the first circuit path, which can be configured to provide the input signal from the input port to the first output port. The circuit can further include a second output port electrically coupled to the input port by a second circuit path that is parallel to the first circuit path. The circuit can further include the second circuit path, which can be configured to provide a reference signal to the second output port. The reference signal can be based on a delayed version of the input signal.

  • Publication number: 20020107013
Abstract: A method of intelligent dynamic frequency reuse includes transmitting a first signal on a selected frequency with a first one of a plurality of fixed stations, the signal being directed to a first one of a plurality of mobile cellular phone users, receiving a second signal for transmission to a second one of the plurality of mobile cellular phone system users at a second one of the fixed stations, transmissions from the second fixed station on the selected frequency being capable of interfering with reception of transmissions from the first fixed station by the first one of the plurality of mobile cellular phone users, determining whether transmission of the second signal on the selected frequency from the second fixed location would interfere with reception of the first first signal by the first one of the plurality of mobile cellular phone users, and transmitting the second signal from the second one of the fixed stations on the selected frequency when the transmission will not interfere with simultaneous r

  • Patent number: 5640695
Abstract: The present invention discloses an apparatus for minimizing the effects of destructive interference caused by multipath fading. An amplitude sensing module receives IF signals from a plurality of receivers and generates high speed voltage signals proportional to the logarithm of the amplitude of each of the IF signals. An analog logic module compares the high speed signals to each other to determine the high speed voltage signal having the greater level and actuates a switch to select the audio output from the receiver having the high speed signal with the higher voltage level. The switched audio output of the analog logic module is filtered by an output filter module to remove switching transients generated within the analog logic module. The filter module is programmable to accommodate various IF bandwidths and response characteristics.
