  • Publication number: 20240082870
Abstract: An ultrasonic injection device and methods of use are presented. The ultrasonic injection device comprises a housing, an injection nozzle attached to the housing, an ultrasonic vibration generator attached to the housing, and a pressure applicator. The injection nozzle has a number of openings configured to dispense a fluid. The ultrasonic vibration generator is configured to apply ultrasonic energy to fluid within the injection nozzle. The pressure application is configured to propel the fluid towards and out of the number of openings.

  • Publication number: 20060203757
Abstract: A repeater system of a wireless network includes at least one adaptive repeater module and a personality module. The adaptive repeater module includes a hardware signal path for processing an input RF signal to generate a corresponding output RF signal; and a controller unit including a micro-processor for controlling parameters of the hardware signal path in accordance with a software program. The personality module is removably connectable to the adaptive repeater module, and includes a computer readable medium for storing the software program.

  • Publication number: 20060034351
Abstract: In a system for monitoring stability of an on-frequency repeater, a wide-band signature (WBS) signal associated with the repeater is generated, and inserted into an output RF signal transmitted by the repeater. Signal components corresponding to the WBS signal in an input RF signal received by the repeater are detected and analyzed to estimate a feedback path loss L.

  • Publication number: 20050176368
Abstract: A distributed adaptive repeater system includes a donor unit, two or more coverage units (CUs), and an intelligent hub. The donor unit operates to maintain bidirectional wireless communication with a base station of a wireless communications network. Each coverage unit maintains bidirectional wireless communication with transceivers located within a respective coverage area, and is further adapted to independently control a signal path gain to ensure stability of a respective feedback loop to the donor unit. Finally, the intelligent hub is operatively coupled between the donor unit and the coverage units, and adapted to monitor a status of each coverage unit.

  • Publication number: 20040097189
Abstract: An adaptive personal repeater transparently mediates signaling between a wireless communications device (WCD) and a wireless communications network. The repeater includes a Directional Donor Unit (DDU) and a Subscriber Coverage Unit (SCU). The DDU maintains a network link with a transceiver (base station) of the wireless communications network. The SCU maintains a local link with the WCD within a personal wireless space of the repeater. The SCU generally includes, means for detecting respective uplink and downlink channel frequencies of the wireless communications device, and control means for controlling at least the SCU to selectively receive and transmit signals within the detected uplink and downlink channel frequencies. Total system gain is divided between the DDU and the SCU, so that a separate gain and system control unit is not required. This division of system gain also enables high-performance on-frequency repeater functionality to be obtained without the use of high-cost components.
