  • Publication number: 20120124559
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for concurrently evaluating performance of multiple users in one or more tests provides a performance evaluation platform that is accessible to a client application on each of multiple client devices via a network. The client application manages interaction of the users with the performance evaluation platform via the network. The client application, in communication with the performance evaluation platform, configures an adaptive test environment at each of the client devices of the users based on one or more tests selected by the users. The client application on each of the client devices loads the selected tests from the performance evaluation platform and transmits solution responses to the selected tests acquired from the users to the performance evaluation platform. The performance evaluation platform configures processing elements for concurrently processing the solution responses and concurrently evaluates the performance of the users in the selected tests.

  • Publication number: 20120042358
Abstract: A computer implemented method and system is provided for authenticating and monitoring an examination environment of a user. A proctoring software provided on a user's computing device communicates with a remote monitoring station via a server over a network. A data capture device provided on the computing device is configured to rotate and tilt to multiple angles to view and capture audiovisual data from the examination environment. A proctor administering the remote monitoring station authenticates the user based on an examination selected by the user. The proctor defines criteria comprising actions allowed for the user while taking the examination. The proctoring software monitors the examination environment for conformance to the defined criteria. The proctoring software transmits the monitoring information to the remote monitoring station based on transmission parameters determined by the server. The proctor controls actions of the user when the user is not in conformance with the defined criteria.

  • Publication number: 20060283157
Abstract: A rotating filter screen assembly is provided for filtering debris from cooling and combustion air provided to an engine system having an engine fan adapted to draw air through the filter screen assembly. The filter screen assembly includes a rotating filter screen having an upstream side and a downstream side. The filter screen is adapted to collect debris on the upstream side from air passing through the filter screen. A stationary cleaning chamber is mounted in the filter screen assembly and has an open face adjacent the upstream side of the filter screen. A vacuum source is connected to the cleaning chamber and is adapted to remove collected debris from the upstream side of the filter screen as the filter screen rotates relative to the cleaning chamber. An aerodynamic baffle plate is offset from the downstream side of the filter screen to divert air flow toward the downstream side of the filter screen so as to create an area of high pressure air at the open face of the cleaning chamber.
