  • Publication number: 20240102351
Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of apparatuses and methods that include an annular flow lubricator. In an exemplary embodiment, the annular flow lubricator includes a body housing an internal flow tube such that well flow enters a lower portion of the internal flow tube, travels up the internal flow tube, and exits an upper portion of the internal flow tube. Upon exiting the upper portion of the internal flow tube, well flow then travels in an annulus between the body of the lubricator and a wall of the internal flow tube before exiting an outlet port of the lubricator.

  • Publication number: 20230287762
Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of systems and apparatuses that include a dart and/or a clutch for a dart plunger. In an exemplary embodiment, the dart plunger includes a dart adapted to move between a first position and a second position and also between a maximum closed position and a minimum closed position. Varying diameters of the dart, and/or the opening in which the clutch is retained, enable the clutch to variably retard movement of the dart between its first, second, maximum, and minimum positions.

  • Publication number: 20230029090
Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of systems and apparatuses that include a dart and/or a clutch for a dart plunger. In an exemplary embodiment, the clutch consists of a one-piece unit having a length, an outside diameter, and an inside diameter where at least a portion of the inside diameter is sized to create a frictional interface with a dart. The clutch may also include a gap, a slot, and/or a spiral cut. The dart may include a shaft having opposite ends and a shaft diameter that varies between the opposite ends.

  • Patent number: 10895128
Abstract: The bypass plungers are disclosed that are configured to provide a mechanical lock between a valve face of plunger and a the valve element of the plunger. More specifically, the valve face and the valve seat are correspondingly configured to allow the valve face to wedge into the interior of the valve seat such that the valve head becomes stuck within the interior of the valve seat.
