  • Patent number: 12050448
Abstract: Process control of continuous production of biomolecules is a major challenge due to complex nature of processes and time scales of operations involved. Availability of key process variables in real-time is one of main requirements. This disclosure relates to a processor implemented method of controlling a continuous bioprocessing plant which includes at least one of: receiving, an input data associated with one or more equipments; generating, by a recipe builder, a sequence of unit operations to determine at least one job order based on the at least input data; obtaining, a control decision associated with a control parameter based on the at least one job order; communicating, via the middleware, the control decision associated with the control parameter to the PLC; and executing, by a control system of the PLC, the control decision on a unit equipment to control: (i) a continuous bioprocessing train, and (ii) an individual unit operation.

  • Publication number: 20240172785
Abstract: Provided are compositions comprising microbially derived proteins obtained from the fermentation of biomass and methods for producing high-protein food compositions derived from said compositions. The disclosure also provides compositions and methods to increase the protein nutritional quality score of a food composition while maintaining traditional food forms. Also disclosed are methods for producing protein powders with tailored water holding capacity to provide properties similar to conventional food ingredients.

  • Publication number: 20240139705
Abstract: A structured material assembly for removing CO2 from a gas, comprises a substrate, a sorbent for adsorbing CO2 from the gas, and a desorption material integrated into the structured material assembly, which is responsive to inputted energy to generate heat to desorb CO2 from the sorbent. The CO2-containing gas may comprise ambient air.

  • Publication number: 20220386666
Abstract: Colloidal food products comprising filamentous fungal particles are disclosed, as are methods of making such colloidal food products. The filamentous fungal particles may stabilize the colloid and/or act as a supplemental or replacement source of protein in analogs of conventional non-fungal colloidal food products, such as ice cream and mayonnaise.

  • Publication number: 20220295809
Abstract: The present invention concerns a method for concentrating dairy proteins. The method includes producing and using negatively-charged ultrafiltration membranes to achieve high hydraulic permeability with low sieving coefficients. The method thus yields good protein concentration at a fast rate.

  • Patent number: 11232607
Abstract: In implementations of adding color to digital images, an image colorization system can display a digital image to be color adjusted in an image editing interface and convert pixel content of the digital image to a LAB color space. The image colorization system can determine a lightness value (L) in the LAB color space of the pixel content of the digital image at a specified point on the digital image, and determine colors representable in an RGB color space based on combinations of A,B value pairs with the lightness value (L) in the LAB color space. The image colorization system can then determine a range of the colors for display in a color gamut in the image editing interface, the range of the colors corresponding to the A,B value pairs with the lightness value (L) of the pixel content at the specified point on the digital image.
