Abstract: A method of troubleshooting a water pumping system including a controller, a water pump, a heater and a temperature sensor is provided. The method includes the controller controlling heating up of the heater, the temperature sensor detecting a temperature of the heater, the controller controlling the water pump to pump water through the heater with a default water pumping power, the controller determining whether the temperature of the heater after the water pump has started operating for a pre-determined period is less than or equal to a pre-determined overheating temperature, and the controller controlling the water pump with the controller to pump water through the heater with an alternative water pumping power that is greater than the default water pumping power when the temperature of the heater after the water pump has started operating for the pre-determined period is greater than the pre-determined overheating temperature.
