  • Patent number: 8996510
Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, eye-tracking data may be collected from a user while the user is viewing a visual sensory stimulus. If the eye-tracking data includes an eye motion pattern exceeding a predetermined threshold, then the eye-tracking data may be used to identify a visual element within the user's field of view. In addition to the visual element, attributes and context information related to the sensory experience may be determined. Information related to the sensory experience may be stored in a repository for purposes of aiding the user's recollection of the visual element at a future time.

  • Patent number: 8775975
Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, a text message may be sent in which eye-tracking data is used to associate information with a portion of the text message. A text message input by a user may be displayed, with eye-tracking data from the user indicating an expectation associated with a portion of the text message. The expectation may cause information related to the portion of the text message to be associated with the portion of the message.

  • Patent number: 8719278
Abstract: In one exemplary embodiment, a set of attributes derived from an element of a first digital document is obtained. The element is identified from eye-tracking data of a user viewing the digital document. A search query of a database comprising at least one query term is received. A set of documents in the database is identified according to the search query. An attribute score is determined for each document. The set of documents are sorted according to the attribute score. Optionally, a commonality between the query term and at least one member of the set of attributes may be determined. The search query may be generated by the user. The database may be a hypermedia database.

  • Patent number: 8515468
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method and article of manufacture for calculation of higher-order data from context data are disclosed. An application program interface receives a set of context data in conjunction with a calculation module. A calculation module calculates a higher-order data using the set of context data. A signal-generation module embeds the higher-order data in a telecommunication signal. The calculation module may create a coordinate space for the set of context data. The calculation module may define a property of the coordinate space. The calculation module operates to define a function that describes a relation between each member of the set of context data.

  • Patent number: 8509826
Abstract: Disclosed are a system, method, and article of manufacture of an association of context data with a text-message component. A context data is associated with a text-message component. The association between the context data and the text-message component may be indicated with a user interface. The association between the context data and the text-message component may be embedded in a text-message signal. The association between the context data and the text-message component may be embedded in a short message service (SMS) signal.
