Abstract: A bassinette having a front wall that may selectively be set at a height substantially equal to the height of other walls of the bassinette, or alternatively released to allow the front wall to have a lower height than remaining walls, wherein the method of attachment of a cross-member supporting the top edge comprises receiver cups, and a retractable tongue to allow the cross-member to be selectively trapped between the receiver cups, in a manner requiring only a single hand for insertion and removal of the cross-member from the structure of the bassinette.

Abstract: An infant sleeping and nursing unit is described. The unit includes a base, which includes two side walls and a rear wall and a platform extending between the side walls and the rear wall, where the base is substantially rigid. The base can also have a central surface area defined by two risers disposed on opposite sides of the central surface area, raised end portions and side portions disposed between the risers and the end portions. The unit can also include a cover, where the cover which substantially overlays the base, where the cover is removably secured to the base. The unit can also include one or more positioning supports that are removably securable to the platform.

Abstract: The invention is directed to a baskette assembly. The basket assembly includes a frame having a base member, an upright member extending upwardly from the base member, and a support member extending away from the upright member, where the support member is positioned substantially centrally above the base member, a baskette for suspending spatially between the base member and the support member of the frame, where the baskette includes at least one fabric unit, such that the at least one fabric unit forms two sidewalls and a sleeping area when the baskette is suspended from the support member of the frame, and a suspension mechanism for suspending the baskette from the support member. The baskette sidewalls each have a front edge and a rear edge, the front edges and the rear edges each having a length. The front or rear edge can be adjustable in length.

The canopy includes a frame and has at least three canopy support arms pivotally attached to an arm attachment portion. The canopy cover has a central opening at the top that fits over the frame and includes tubular enclosures located on an inner surface of the canopy cover that are open at their upper ends adjacent the opening and fit slidably over the canopy support arms. The central opening has a removable cover. The support arms of the frame are inserted into the tubular members through the central opening. The canopy cover includes an elastic member integral with the surrounding lower edge that urges it and the support arms toward the outer perimeter of a co-sleeper, crib or play yard. The canopy cover is made of mesh material and includes a reclosable opening for interior access.
