Publication number: 20220178723Abstract: A method includes generating a sequence of multiple optical pulses, for transmission into an optical fiber (12) having an array of multiple equally spaced reflectors (14) embedded therein, the sequence having a pulse duration and a pulse repetition interval (PRI) that guarantee that reflections of any of the optical pulses from any of the reflectors do not overlap. The sequence of optical pulses is transmitted into the optical fiber. The reflections of the optical pulses from the reflectors are extracted from the optical fiber. One or more events affecting the optical fiber are identified by analyzing the reflections.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 15, 2020Publication date: June 9, 2022Inventors: Avishay Eyal, Nadav Arbel, Shaul Ozeri

Publication number: 20200153354Abstract: Regulating an AC voltage. The device includes a magnetic core, multiple windings around the core, and multiple switch arrays connectable between an AC power source and respective windings. The switch arrays including multiple switches controllable to connect the AC power source to the windings in a first polarity or in a second polarity. The first polarity and second polarity are different polarities, e.g. phase shifted by 180 degrees. An electrical conductor is disposed around or through the core. The electrical conductor is series-connectable to a power line. AC voltage of the power line is regulated by adding an AC voltage of the electrical conductor responsive to selection of the switches of the switch arrays.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 14, 2019Publication date: May 14, 2020Inventors: Shaul Ozeri, Tal Tayar, Liran Katzir

Publication number: 20070244469Abstract: The present invention is a miniature medication pump. With a small lightweight mechanism, operating on low energy consumption, the medication pump device is a highly reliable controlled portable device of drug infusion to patients. The proposed device is comprised of a piezoelectric actuator, operated by a programmable logic means, which applies force on a lever. The lever is situated between two unidirectional stoppers and transfers the force of the actuator onto the front stopper. The front stopper has a grip on the plunger stem and it therefore pushes it in the direction of the syringe and releases controlled amounts of medication to the body of the patient. The invention also include monitoring mechanisms which enable constant and accurate measurements of the amount of medication which is released from the device in actuality. The user of the pump is alerted about detected deviations from the designated flow of the medication.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 10, 2007Publication date: October 18, 2007Inventors: Shaul Ozeri, Jehonatan Ozeri
