  • Patent number: 7140590
Abstract: The present invention discloses a pinch valve for replacing a diaphragm valve in a plumbing fixture. The plumbing fixture includes an inlet chamber defining a fluid inlet and in fluid communication with an inside chamber defining a fluid outlet. The pinch valve includes a cartridge member with a fluid inlet opening, a fluid outlet opening and a cartridge chamber defined by a cartridge chamber wall and in fluid communication with the fluid inlet opening and the fluid outlet opening. A flexible sealing member is positioned at least partially within the cartridge chamber and includes a wall with an inner surface defining an inner chamber and an outer surface defining an outer chamber between the outer surface of the flexible sealing member wall and the cartridge chamber wall. The inlet chamber of the plumbing fixture is in fluid communication with the inner chamber and the outer chamber.

  • Patent number: 6805330
Abstract: The present invention is a fluid control switch which includes an adapter element for engagement with a switch housing assembly in a fluid control system. The switch housing assembly has a switch orifice surrounded by a switch orifice rim. The adapter element also includes an activation portion in communication with a signal switch, which creates a analog/digital data signal when the activation portion is activated. When the adapter element is engaged with the switch housing assembly, the activation portion of the adapter element extends at least flush with the switch orifice rim of the switch housing assembly.

  • Patent number: 6769443
Abstract: A control system is provided having a flow valve, a control valve for controlling flow through the flow valve, a logic circuit for receiving, processing, and transmitting data signals; a central control unit for receiving, processing, and transmitting data signals; and a flow valve actuator. When the flow valve actuator is actuated, the central control unit informs the logic circuit to permit the control valve to allow flow through the flow valve. However, if during a set time period, the flow valve actuator is actuated too often, subsequent actuation is disallowed for a second time period. Also, if during a shut down, subsequent actuation is disallowed. During the second time period or the shut down, any successive actuation is recorded by the central control unit.

  • Patent number: 6612540
Abstract: The present invention is a control valve having an adapter element, which is particularly useful as a retrofit for a mechanical flow valve. The adapter element has at least one adapter element fluid inlet and at least one adapter element fluid outlet and is sealingly engaged with and in fluid communication with a flow valve. The flow valve has a flow valve fluid inlet, a flow valve fluid outlet, and a flow valve piston orifice. The adapter element includes a piston orifice plug extension to seal the flow valve piston orifice when the adapter element is engaged with the flow valve. The control valve also includes a plunger mechanism with a plunger element in operable communication with the adapter element fluid outlet. The adapter element is a unitary structure.
