  • Publication number: 20240095848
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed with respect to using a blockchain for managing the subrogation claim process related to a vehicle collision, in particular, utilizing evidence oracles as part of the subrogation process. An exemplary embodiment includes receiving recorded data from one or more connected devices at a geographic location; analyzing the recorded data, wherein analyzing the recorded data includes determining that an collision has occurred involving one or more vehicles; generating a transaction including the data indicative of the collision based upon the analysis; and transmitting the transaction to at least one other participant in the distributed ledger network.

  • Patent number: 11481397
Abstract: Techniques for aggregating and emitting database activity record batches are described. Database activity records can be written to a shared memory queue and emitted to a destination using a remote procedure call (RPC). Individual database connection server processes can write client activity records to the queue. An activity monitor plugin in the database engine can monitor the audit records and aggregate the audit records into batches. Batches of audit records can be sent via RPC to their final or intermediate destination. Each instance host in a database service can include a client backend process configured to define how to submit audit records to shared memory. The activity monitor plugin can batch audit records in to messages and submit those messages via RPC to a security host manager and relaying response back to each relevant client backend.

  • Publication number: 20220305242
Abstract: A dilator device including an elongated flexible material sleeve having a hollow interior extending along a distal portion and a proximal portion thereof. An expandable or inflatable bladder is connected to the distal portion and disposable radially outward from an exterior of the sleeve when in an expanded and/or inflated orientation. The elongated sleeve comprising a tip having a predetermined configuration that facilitates positioning the elongated sleeve within an intended body part. A fluid input is structured for removable connection to a fluid source and is disposed on the sleeve, in fluid communication with the bladder. An access opening is formed on the proximal portion and is cooperatively dimensioned with the hollow interior to removably receive any one of a plurality of different types of positioning instruments within the sleeve.

  • Patent number: 9394209
Abstract: Method of making a soil dispersible and water dispersible granular nutrient for use in fertilizers or animal feeds. A sulfuric acid solution is sprayed onto a mixture of reducible nutrient compounds and dry carbohydrates. The sulfuric acid converts the carbohydrates to their reducing forms. The reducing saccharides then react with the reducible nutrient compounds to form a carboxylated nutrient. The carboxylated nutrient is bound by polysaccharides and rolled up on itself to form a granule. The sulfuric acid also acts on the nutrient compounds directly to create sulfated nutrients. The process results in a product containing both carboxylated and sulfated metal nutrients.
