    Abstract: A bi-directional flow control device utilizes a single moveable restrictor housed within a cartridge, the piston having a first position wherein the piston orifice provides a smallest diameter flow path through the cartridge, and a second position wherein a cartridge orifice provides a smallest diameter flow path through the cartridge. In one embodiment the device utilizes an anti-rattle mechanism for reducing rattle of the piston within the internal chamber of the cartridge.
