Abstract: A high lift farm dump box particularly constructed to produce a stable unit when the box supporting sections are in extended position by providing a stabilizing cross bar which not only supports the dumping cylinders for the box but also provides a stabilizing connection between the lower ends of the upper strut sections and the upper ends of the next lower strut sections.

Abstract: A hydraulic stabilizing mechanism for connection with a main hydraulic hoist system for automatically actuating at least a pair of stabilizing cylinders to extend the same into statilizing position whenever the main hoist system is extended and positively prevent the stabilizing cylinders from retracting until the main hoist system is in fully retracted position, and more specifically, a hydraulic stabilizing mechanism for farm wagon dump boxes which provides hydraulically actuated stabilizing strut elements between the wagon bolster and the front axle which are maintained in extended stabilizing position whenever the hydraulic box dumping mechanism is extended.

Abstract: A safety latch mechanism for extensible strut elements mounted on stationary strut members such as are used for farm dump boxes, said latch mechanism including elongated latch bars pivotally mounted at their upper ends on the extensible strut elements for longitudinal movement therewith, stop lugs respectively fixed to the stationary strut members for respectively engaging the latch bars when said strut elements are in extended position, and a releasing lever pivotally mounted on the lower end of each latch bar, and having a fulcrum positioned to engage the lever to release each latch bar when the dump box is in lowered position to engage the releasing lever.
