The method also includes receiving program information of the target app returned by the server, where the target app runs on the server in response to the remote operation request, and the target app is installed on the server. The method also includes sending a remote operation instruction to the server based on the program information, where the remote operation instruction is used to instruct to perform an operation on the target app running on the server. A remote operation result is received, which is a result obtained by performing the operation on the running target app.
