Abstract: A control device for an auger type ice making machine according to the present invention includes a driver circuit that drives a geared motor for rotating an auger; a voltage detector that detects an input voltage applied to the geared motor; a current detector that detects a motor current flowing in the geared motor; and a control circuit in which a plurality of current threshold values that differ according to the input voltage are set in advance, the control circuit controlling the driver circuit so as to stop the geared motor when a value of the motor current detected by the current detector exceeds a current threshold value that corresponds to the value of the input voltage detected by the voltage detector.

A manipulating lever for a dispensing cock is correctly opened and closed at all times by the cock driving device. A pair of hole elements capable of sensing the magnet are arranged one behind the other, spaced from each other, on a mounting plate arranged on a slider. The magnet is set to face an intermediate position of both hole elements of the slider staying at a standby position, with the dispensing cock staying at a neutral position. A control board moves the slider for correction to a position at which the magnet reaches the intermediate position of the hole elements if the magnet does not face the intermediate position of the pair of hole elements.

The rotational abnormality detection device has a detecting portion made from a substrate mounted with two hall ICs, and a detection object portion made from a magnet. The detection object portion is embedded in a main body portion of the auger. Further, the detecting portion is formed so as to protrude from an inner surface of the ice making cylinder, and is placed such that the magnetic force from the detection object portion can be detected.
