A presence information generating section generates the presence information. A presence information sending section sends the presence information upon reception of the inquiry.

Abstract: A caller information display system and recording medium in a communication system in which voice communication and data communication can be done between multiple terminals over a network following an Internet protocol, includes a caller information storage unit in which caller information of each local terminal is stored in advance in each terminal, and an input unit that inputs caller information. A display unit displays caller information, and a call circuit unit controls voice communication. The display system also has a caller information transmission and reception control unit which controls transmission and reception of caller information when a call is made or received.

The apparatus comprises P number of mobile terminals in each zone, Q number of communications connecting devices in each zone, and a management connecting device in each zone for recognizing which zone a mobile terminal is located in. The mobile radio telephone apparatus also comprises a controlling unit for controlling the management connecting device so that it operates as an additional communications connecting device in one zone, if one of the P mobile terminals generates a connecting request in the one zone and all Q of the communications connecting devices are already assigned to the other P mobile terminals.

Abstract: A control channel junction line system for use with a digital switching network wherein a talking channel used in a control channel is used in a high efficiency is disclosed. Each exchange of the system includes a digital junction line trunk, a low rate information multiplexing trunk, a low rate control channel processing section and a multiplexing/demultiplexing section. When the low rate information multiplexing trunk is connected to a channel on which the control channel is to be carried, one of the circuits corresponding to a time slot used for control channel information is disabled. Upon transmission, the control channel information from the low rate control channel processing section and information from the low rate information multiplexing trunk are multiplexed with each other by and sent out from the multiplexing/demultiplexing section.

Abstract: The relationship between wire telephones and cordless terminals are registered in a memory of a PBX. At the time of calling, when a cordless terminal is taken from the wire telephone, the wire telephone transmits a call signal to the PBX and supplies the input telephone number of the called party to the PBX. The PBX executes a calling process between the PBX and the cordless terminal corresponding to the wire telephone through a cordless connecting device, thereby establishing a channel between the cordless terminal and the telephone terminal of the called party. When an incoming call is terminated, if the cordless terminal is on the wire telephone, the PBX calls the wire telephone. If the cordless terminal is lifted by the calling, the PBX executes an incoming call process between the PBX and the cordless terminal, thereby establishing a channel between the cordless terminal and the call party.

Abstract: Transmitting/receiving system includes a plurality of analog junction lines and analog tie trunks provided at two ends of the analog junction lines. The PBX is provided with an analog junction line-ISDN converting unit. The analog junction line-ISDN converting unit is operative to transfer B-channel signals on a first analog junction line through the PBX network and the analog tie trunks and to transfer D-channel signals on a second analog junction line.

Abstract: A method of controlling a frame-relay module includes steps of outputting a control-information frame from a control unit connected to an ATM switch, the control-information frame containing data specifying a frame-relay interface circuit as well as a processing command, assembling the control-information frame into an ATM cell and sending the ATM cell, via the ATM switch, to a frame-relay module in which the specified frame-relay interface circuit is present, restoring the ATM cell to a control-information frame by an ATM interface circuit and a cell assembly/disassembly circuit contained in the frame-relay module, causing the specified frame-relay interface circuit to accept the control-information frame, and executing processing, which conforms to the command contained in the control-information frame, in the frame-relay interface circuit.

Abstract: A switching system for application services is provided with a terminal. At least one application processor stores a plurality of application programs for providing a plurality of the application services. Switching equipment couples the terminal to the application processor. The terminal has a specifying means for specifying one arbitrary application service out of the plurality of application services. When a user specifies the one arbitrary application service using the specifying means of the terminal, this information is transmitted to a common control unit of the switching equipment. The common control unit receives the application service specifying information from the terminal, and transfers this application specifying information to the application processor. The application processor selects the one arbitrary application service based on the application service specifying information which is transferred from the switching equipment.

Abstract: A digital telephone set includes a digital telephone circuit and an emergency analog circuit. Normally, the digital telephone circuit is made active so that a handset provided in common therewith is connected to a digital transmission line. In an emergency, the emergency analog circuit is made active instead of the digital telephone circuit so that the handset is connected to an analog transmission line. A dial key pad unit and a speaker are provided in common with the digital telephone circuit and the emergency analog circuit.

Abstract: Disclosed is a PBX system connected through a communication line (61) to an ISDN public network (101), comprising a control unit connected to a PBX switching network. The control unit comprises a unit for adding a line accessing number (.alpha.) to a calling party address (#B) in an incoming call information (ii) received through the communication line so as to form an incoming information (iii) to be received by said extension terminal, and a unit for transmitting the incoming information including the line accessing number to the extension terminal in which the line accessing number is displayed, whereby the user can recognize whether the incoming call is from the ISDN public network or from another extension terminal accommodated by the PBX system.
