  • Publication number: 20220317871
Abstract: A display apparatus includes circuitry to receive hand drafted data input by an electronic pen; display, on a screen, a plurality of character string candidates converted in a recognition language from the hand drafted data; and display a converted character string converted from one of the plurality of character string candidates, selected by the electronic pen, into a target language associated with identification information of the electronic pen. The target language is different from the recognition language. • Patent number: 9733559
Abstract: An image projector includes: a light source to emit light; an image forming element irradiated with the light from the light source and to form an image for projection onto a projection surface; a first controller activated when the image projector is in a waiting state; and a second controller that is not activated when the image projector is in the waiting state. In response to detection of an execution request for executing the image projector in the waiting state at the first controller, the first controller sets a power supply circuit with an initial voltage to start supplying power to the light source, and when the light source is lighted at the initial voltage, activates the second controller.

  • Patent number: 9607363
Abstract: A projector includes a projection unit to project an image on a screen; an angle detector to detect shaking of the projection unit; and a trapezoidal distortion correction unit to conduct automatic trapezoidal distortion correction of the image displayed on the screen based on an inclination angle of the projection unit detected by the angle detector, and to enable manual trapezoidal distortion correction of the image displayed on the screen. When the manual trapezoidal distortion correction is conducted after the automatic trapezoidal distortion correction, the trapezoidal distortion correction unit determines whether an angle deviation of the inclination angle exceeds for a given threshold angle for a given time period. When the trapezoidal distortion correction unit determines that the angle deviation exceeds the given threshold angle, the automatic trapezoidal distortion correction is conducted again.

  • Patent number: 9158184
Abstract: A device, method, and program stored in a recording medium are provided. A sampling time period and, a value of limit angle are set. Inclination of the projector device is detected with respect to a horizontal surface to output a plurality of inclination angle values of the projector device. A representative angle value of a current sampling time period is calculated based on the plurality of inclination angle values and the difference between the representative angle value and a representative angle value from a previous sampling time period is calculated. It is determined whether the difference in representative angle value is equal to or greater than the limit angle value to generate a determination result. Finally, trapezoidal distortion in the image is corrected based on the inclination angle values detected when the determination result indicates that the difference is equal to or greater than the limit angle value.
