  • Patent number: 9823946
Abstract: A processor executes a plurality of tasks by switching a timeslot and iterating a plurality of timeslots. The processor includes a table in which tasks are defined in correspondence with timeslots. In the table, the number of timeslots to be held in one iteration is defined, for each of the timeslots a total time period during the predetermined number of iterations is designated, and a plurality of tasks are defined in correspondence with at least one of the timeslots. A timeslot is switched every time a predetermined period elapses. One task is selected and executed by referring to the table in correspondence with switching of timeslot.

  • Patent number: 8519811
Abstract: In an electromagnetic relay, length from a movable contact to an end portion of a movable element on a first end side is set greater than length from the movable contact to another end portion of the movable element on a second end side opposite to the first end side. A direction of a Lorentz force acting on a portion of the movable element from the movable contact to the end portion of the movable element on the first end side is conformed to a direction for bringing fixed contacts and movable contacts into contact with each other. Thus, separation between the movable contacts and the fixed contacts due to an electromagnetic repulsive force can be inhibited.

  • Patent number: 7983119
Abstract: An optical disc apparatus reliably executes a seek operation even if an optical disc is warped. Tilt adjustment values spanning from the inner circumference to the outer circumference of an optical disc are stored. When seeking from a start address to a destination address, a tilt adjustment value A at the start address and a tilt adjustment address C at the destination address are not directly used. A tilt adjustment value k·C (k<1) is used during a coarse seek operation until the neighborhood of the destination address and a tilt adjustment value C is used during a fine seek operation from the neighborhood of the destination address to the destination address.
