  • Patent number: 11962972
Abstract: To enhance a sound image localization effect and to ensure a good viewing state in which an image or video and audio have a sense of unity. Provided is a display in which an image is displayed in a display surface, a rear cover disposed on a rear side of the display, a first speaker disposed between the display and the rear cover, and a second speaker disposed between the display and the rear cover and positioned higher than the first speaker. The second speaker outputs audio according to operation of a piezoelectric element, and has a higher audio output band than the first speaker. This enables a user to feel as if the audio is being output from the display being viewed, which enhances the sound image localization effect and ensures a good viewing state in which an image or video and audio have a sense of unity.

  • Patent number: 5597037
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to minimize a volume of a hollow body by a combination of a horizontal H-letter shaped type gas-liquid separator and a plurality of plate-fin heat exchangers having a larger heat exchange performance per volume. In the present heat exchanging apparatus, fluid and refrigerants flow about in the hollow body through pipes while gas and liquid phases of the refrigerants are repeatedly separated and mixed for heat exchange between the fluid and the refrigerants. The apparatus comprises a plurality of plate-fin heat exchangers for exchanging heat between the refrigerants and the fluid, and a gas-liquid separator including upper and lower accommodation portions which are hollow cylinders laid in a horizontal direction both ends of which are airtightly sealed and an intermediate accommodation portion which connects the upper accommodation portion to the lower accommodation portion so as to form a sideways H-letter shape.

  • Patent number: 5228313
Abstract: A low-temperature storage case having; a food storage room inside a thermally good conductive inner box which is surrounded by a thermally insulating outer box, and a cold-air circulation space between the two boxes; and a refrigeration unit disposed in the cold-air circulation space. Ethylene adsorbing members are provided on at least a portion of the inner box with one surface of each ethylene adsorbing member is exposed to the storage room and other surfaces exposed to the cold-air circulation space so as to adsorb ethylene gas in the storage room. In order to re-activate the ethylene adsorptibity of the adsorbing members, ther are provided; ventilation holes in the outer box; a heater disposed in the cold-air circulation space; and a ventilation unit mounted on the outer box for ventilating the cold-air circulation space as required.

  • Patent number: 4544514
Abstract: An apparatus for uniformly distributing a liquid having dual gaseous and liquid phases for use with a heat exchanger is disclosed. A liquid spreading device of the apparatus includes a main pipe extending along the full length of a header of the apparatus, and a plurality of branch pipes connected to the main pipe and extending perpendicularly to the main pipe just above and along the full width of descending flow entrances of a core of the heat exchanger. Each branch pipe has a plurality of liquid spreading holes perforated in a predetermined spaced relationship at the bottom thereof. Thus, liquid can be distributed from the apparatus substantially uniformly within a deviation of, for example, .+-.10 percent.
