Abstract: A nail printer includes a print head, a placement table, a fingerprint sensor, a memory, a placement table shifter and a processor. The fingerprint sensor acquires reference information including a reference fingerprint image and reference positional information on a position of the reference fingerprint image in the placement table from an object placed at a reference position which is a position suitable for printing on a nail of the object on the placement table with the print head. The processor compares positional information on a fingerprint image of the object currently placed on the placement table with the reference positional information preliminarily stored in the memory, and controls the placement table shifter to shift the object based on a result of the comparing such that the position of the object on the placement table substantially agrees with the reference position.

The medium holder holds a stamp face material in a plate-like member, and has a predetermined pattern in a side end portion thereof. An optical sensor detects the top end portion of the medium holder on a sensor scanning line in the inserting direction, and the pattern start point and the pattern end point of the predetermined pattern. At least one of the horizontal and vertical sizes of the stamp face material is set based on the positions of two of the detected end portions. When the pattern end point is detected, platemaking with the stamp face material is started.

The stamping-face plate holder comprises a plate holding member formed with a positioning recess for receiving and positioning a stamping-face plate and a film for covering the stamping-face plate held in the plate holding member. The stamping-face plate is made of a porous material impregnated with ink. The plate holding member consists of a top paper board and a bottom paper board, both boards being integrated by adhering and the positioning recess is formed in the top paper board. The film covers the whole surface of the top paper board and adheres to the top paper board excepting the stamping-face plate held therein.

Abstract: An image display device, an image delivery system and an image delivery server are provided by which images that are to be delivered to another digital photo frame can be easily differentiated. When an operation for replaying images is performed, the image display device starts for each image, a playback timer to measure its viewing duration and stores the viewing duration in the image file. Then, the image display device collectively transfers all the images to an image selection server at a predetermined timing or by a user operation, and the image selection server transmits images whose viewing durations are equal to or more than a predetermined threshold to another image display device as e-mail attachments at a transfer timing. As a result, the other image display device receives different interesting images every day by e-mail.

Abstract: A digital television broadcast receiver receives a digital television broadcast including a television broadcast program and a data broadcast that in turn includes various items of service information, and displays them on a display thereof. When desired service information are selected in compliance with a display format set command given by a remote controller, the display positions and sizes of the selected service information are adjusted. The selected desired item data of service information and a display format therefor are stored in a memory in correspondence to any particular one of a plurality of function keys of the remote controller. When the user operates any particular function key during viewing of the television, only the corresponding selected service information are displayed on the display picture of the television program in a display format based on the display format data stored in the memory.
