  • Publication number: 20100323105
Abstract: There is provided a high-efficient molding method for realizing an inexpensive optical element exhibiting environmental stability of optical performance approximately equivalent to glass optical elements. Optical plate 71p which is a transparent inorganic material with stable optical property in the environment, is inserted in molding cavity CV. Then, molds 61 and 62 are closed and optical plate 71p is unitedly molded with energy curable resin to obtain molded body MP. Thereby, optical path length of the energy curable resin is shortened, and the optical property of the molded body MP is hardly affected by environmental change. A highly accurate molding transferability of the shape of optical surfaces 71j and 71k formed by injection molding, simultaneous molding of the opposing optical surfaces 71j and 71k, and securing alignment of the double-molded optical surfaces 71j and 71k are easily realized. Therefore, inexpensive optical element 71a can be molded with high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 7835087
Abstract: A method of producing a lens that includes shifting a first die relative to a second die, and pressing an optical material shaped in a preliminary form between the first die and the second die so as to form a lens having a configuration corresponding to a hollow portion formed by the first die and the second die while shifting the first die relative to the second die. The produced lens includes an effective optical surface configured to converge a light flux. The effective optical surface includes a light entrance side, a light exit side, and an optical axis. The effective optical surface is a convex surface shaped such that when a maximum normal line angle is defined as an angle formed between the optical axis and a normal line at the outermost circumference of the effective optical surface, the maximum normal angle is 60° to 90°.

  • Publication number: 20100221582
Abstract: Provided is a magnetic recording medium substrate appropriate for a discrete medium and capable of fabricating a magnetic recording medium to/from which data can be written or read stably. Coaxial grooves (2) are formed on the surface of a resin substrate (1). The groove (2) has a width (T2) greater than a width (T1) of a track (3). Accordingly, when a magnetic layer is layered on the resin substrate (1), magnetic layers formed on the adjacent tracks (3) are not brought into contact and it is possible to prevent the problem that the magnetic layer is embedded in the groove (2). Thus, it is possible to physically separate the track (3) by the groove (2) and fabricate a magnetic recording medium to/from which data can written and read stably.

The wafer lens assembly includes a first substrate including plural optical members formed of a curable resin on at least one surface, a second substrate joined to the first substrate, and a stop member arranged between the first and second substrates. The first and second substrates are adhered with an adhesive made of a photo-curable resin. The method includes an adhesive applying step of applying the adhesive made of a photo-curable resin on a joining area, a stop-member forming step, and a photo-curing step of irradiating and hardening the adhesive applied in the adhesive applying step with light after the stop-member forming step. The stop member is formed so as not to prevent the light irradiated in the photo-curing step from reaching the adhesive.

  • Publication number: 20100209608
Abstract: An objective is to provide a film formation method with which a layer having reduced defects, a die obtained by the film formation method, and a method of manufacturing the die. Free carbons increase in the case of reducing hydrogen gas as a carrier gas, so that concave portions are generated and increased during the molding transfer surface process. It was commonly known that hydrogen gas employed for the thermal CVD was set to 2 moles, but it was found out that generation of concave portions was possible to be largely inhibited by setting hydrogen gas to at least 3 moles. However, a level of up to 8 moles is preferable in view of practical use, since dilution of the total raw material gas causes a decline of reaction speed in the case of too much increase of hydrogen gas, resulting in the low speed of film formation.

  • Publication number: 20100193983
Abstract: Provided are a structure of molding tools and an injection molding device that can easily perform molding of an optical element even from a resin of low velocity or the like and can suppress any negative effects by air. The structure of the molding tools includes between the molding tools (61, 62) a fixed molding tool (61) and a movable molding tool (62) and an O-ring (63a) for keeping air tightness and a resin seal (63b) for preventing any resin leakage. The O-ring (63a) performs decreasing of the pressure in a cavity (CV) formed by joining the molding tools (61, 62), whereby the vacuum molding in which resin supply and resin curing is carried out under a decreased pressure can be performed. Accordingly, the effects such as prevention of air bubbling due to air trapping by injected resin within the cavity (CV) can be attained. Furthermore, the resin seal (63b) can prevent any resin leakage from the molding tools (61, 62) even when the resin having a low viscosity is used.

  • Publication number: 20100183764
Abstract: Provided is an injection nozzle and a molding apparatus which ensure injection pressure by suppressing resin leakage even when a resin material having a low viscosity is used. In injection molding, it is especially important that the injection nozzle and a fixed die are excellently kept in contact with each other and that the resin is not leaked. Resin leakage from between the injection nozzle and the fixed die lowers molding pressure, increases molding shrinkage of the resin, and directly affects the qualities of a molded product resulting in generation of a sink, transfer failure and the like. Since an O-ring in a circumferential groove of the nozzle closely comes in contact with a concave spherical surface while elastically transforming on the entire circumference, leakage is effectively suppressed even the resin is a heat-curable resin having a low viscosity.

  • Publication number: 20100178377
Abstract: In repeating strokes for injecting a resin material, a piston (13) is slid to an inlet position (P2) within a cylinder (12). Accordingly, when the piston (13) is moved backward further, the resin near the piston (13) is replaced with a fresh resin supplied from a resin reservoir section (RT). Therefore, in the subsequent injection stroke, only the fresh resin can be always injected. Thus, there is no possibility that the rein stays beyond the pot-life and starts to cure or causes an increase in viscosity within the cylinder (12). Further, any foreign matter such as a semi-cured resin is not produced. Therefore, clogging of the resin passage and the flow of the foreign matter into a molding cavity can be suppressed. As a result, given molding conditions can be always ensured, and, thus, highly accurate molding products can be produced with high reproducibility.

  • Patent number: 7730815
Abstract: In the assembly of vibration body, the first width in the lateral direction (X axis direction) is greater than the second width in the longitudinal direction (Y axis direction) in the cross sectional form perpendicular to Z axis of the first portion on the tip side from the closest node position, thereby, the rigidity of a vibration body main part in the X axis direction can be enhanced, and lateral bending vibrations on fixing portion can be restrained. Consequently, an object can be processed highly accurately by the assembly of vibration body that is controlled with a high precision.

  • Publication number: 20100118182
Abstract: It is possible to provide a camera module manufacturing method and a camera model which can improve performance of a camera module without complicating the manufacturing method. A light shield is formed on the side surface of each lens body (11) and a lens support member (12). Thus it is possible to obtain the diaphragm function for regulating the incident light flux transmission area and the function for suppressing the intrusion of stray light without using a separate diaphragm or a light shielding member.
