Abstract: A position information processing system for a mobile includes a detecting device for detecting the current position of the mobile and a memory device for storing area information relating to a plurality of divided areas and relation information with respect to the relationship between two of the divided areas. A control device is operable in such a manner that from plural sections by which the national is divided and in which plural prefectures are included, a specific section is elected initially and the selected section is checked for plural prefectures in the order of a specific matter in order to obtain a map on a page in which the current position is included. A displaying device is provided for displaying the selected area at present by order of the control device.
