  • Patent number: 5054304
Abstract: A sheet stock feed line in which sheet stock is leveled and fed by a leveler to a feeder and each time the feeder feeds the sheet stock by a predetermined length, the feed by the feeder is stopped for working the sheet stock. While the feed by the feeder is stopped, the leveler feeds the sheet stock at a very low feed rate to form a loop of the sheet stock between the leveler and the feeder. When the loops reaches a predetermined size, the feeder resumes the feed of the sheet stock and the leveler is controlled so that its feed amount follows that by the feeder.

  • Patent number: 4938071
Abstract: A device for detecting the degree of deterioration of bank notes has a driving rotary body and a detection rotary body, which are a pair of oppositely disposed rollers each having alternately disposed enlarged diameter portions and annular grooves. These enlarged portions and the grooves of the two rotary bodies are in staggered, opposed relationship so that when a bank note is conveyed between the two rotary bodies, the note is deformed into a wave shape. The rotation of the driving rotary body influences the rotary movement of the detection rotary body depending on the stiffness of the bank note in the wave shape. When the bank note is new and stiff, the influence is strong, while when the bank note is old and deteriorated with a small stiffness, the influence is small. Such influence is detected from variation in rotary movement of the detection rotary body to which a predetermined rotational characteristic is given by a resistance imparting device.

  • Patent number: 4739490
Abstract: A first base supporting a lower blade is reciprocated horizontally by rotation of a first motor in one direction only. A second base supporting supporting an upper blade is reciprocated vertically by rotation of a second motor in one direction only. A signal corresponding to the movement of said work, preset length data and a signal corresponding to the rotation of said first motor are fed to first base numerical control means, and the first base is controlled during forward run of the first base by the first base numerical control means such as to follow the running of the work with the work projected by the preset length from the first base.

  • Patent number: 4091315
Abstract: In a servomechanism in which a cutter is rotated by a servomotor to cut a moving member in a predetermined rotational angular range of the cutter and the servomotor is controlled in accordance with the difference between the number of length measuring pulses generated corresponding to the distance of movement of the moving member and the number of rotation measuring pulses generated corresponding to the rotation of the cutter, a correcting signal is read out of a memory with respect to each rotational angular position of the cutter in the above said predetermined rotational angular range. The correcting signal corresponds to the component of unit rotational distance of the cutter in the direction of travel of the moving member at each rotational angular position of the cutter in its predetermined rotational angular range.
