  • Patent number: 7130387
Abstract: A communication terminal, a communication method and a program thereof capable of easily recording a name and a telephone number of the other party to be called, and easily calling the recorded telephone number by voice. A voice recognizing section recognizes a telephone number output from the directory service and converts a destination name input from a microphone into a format recognizable by the voice recognizing section. The recognized telephone number is associated with the destination name, both of which are recorded in a telephone number recording section. When the destination name is input by voice from the microphone, the voice recognizing section recognizes the input destination name. A control section reads the telephone number associated with the recognized destination name. Subsequently, a telephone number calling section calls the read telephone number.

  • Publication number: 20060112842
Abstract: A sheet-fed offset rotary printing press with a convertible press mechanism includes a chucking cylinder, convertible cylinder, grippers, and air nozzles and blowing ports. The chucking cylinder conveys a sheet by holding its leading edge. The convertible cylinder is arranged downstream of the chucking cylinder in a sheet convey direction and holds a trailing edge of the sheet being conveyed by the chucking cylinder. The grippers cause the convertible cylinder to hold the sheet in a turned state when the sheet is to be transferred from the chucking cylinder to the convertible cylinder. The air nozzles and blowing ports are arranged at different heights on outer sides of two ends in a widthwise direction of the sheet, and blow air toward a center in the widthwise direction of the sheet which is turned over by the grippers, so as to separate the sheet from the chucking cylinder.

  • Patent number: 6313023
Abstract: A method of fabricating a deflection aperture array used in an electron beam exposure apparatus and a wet etching method and apparatus for fabricating the deflection aperture array are disclosed. In wet etching an aperture array substrate, a jig is used for holding the substrate in such a manner that only a portion of the reverse side to be etched is exposed to an etching solution so that the surface protective film can be removed before wet etching. According to the wet etching method, a gas is introduced into or discharged from an enclosed spacing facing a non-etched surface thereby to adjust the internal pressure of the enclosed spacing. The internal pressure of the enclosed spacing is thus detected and held at a predetermined value in accordance with the detected pressure.

  • Patent number: 6127167
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of controlling the proliferation of an aerobe, in which in the continuous culture of the aerobe by supplying a substrate and oxygen to a culture tank of the aerobe to cause the aerobe to decompose the substrate, the proliferation of the aerobe is inhibited while retaining the substrate-decomposing activity inherent in the aerobe. An oxidation-reduction substance which is reduced by electrons donated by an electron transport system of the aerobe and oxidized by oxygen supplied to the culture tank is caused to coexist with the aerobe in the culture tank.
