  • Patent number: 5435352
Abstract: A method of manufacturing multiaxial thick woven fabrics (8) using healds (3) through which warps are passed, a shuttle (5) reciprocating so as to insert wefts (6) in a warp shedding portion (19) formed by the healds, a reed (9), and a woven fabric removing device (10). A large number of healds are provided in parallel in the direction of woven fabric removal. The shedding portion is formed by passing a plurality of warps so that predetermined thickness and width of the woven fabric are produced through the healds and by widely reciprocating the healds in the width direction, moving the shedding position sequentially from one side to the other side, inserting a weft sequentially in the shedding portion and arranging it by shifting the weft position in the width direction. A texture of the first row of predetermined width and thickness is formed by fixing warps.

  • Patent number: 5422774
Abstract: A magnetic tape cassette includes a slider fitted slidably along a bottom of a cassette case, as well as resiliently locking pieces formed in the bottom of the cassette case along the bottom in a cantilevered fashion and each having a head at a free end thereof for fitting in an engaging hole in the slider so as to retain the slider. Each of the resiliently locking pieces has a compression coil spring provided between the head 12a and an upper half 11a of the cassette case to maintain a resilient force for the head in a thickness-wise direction of the cassette. When the head is pushed into the cassette case by more than a predetermined amount, coils of the compression coil spring are set in a state of close contact with each other in a compressing direction of the spring so as to support the head from an inward direction of the cassette and positionally restrict the displacement of the resiliently locking piece in the inward direction of the cassette.

  • Patent number: 5402918
Abstract: A powder charging apparatus includes a low pressure chamber for accommodating a container to be charged with powder. The low pressure chamber is separable into an upper section and a lower section. A pressure reducer reduces the pressures in the low pressure chamber and the container at the same time. A pressure riser increases the pressure in the low pressure chamber. A powder supplier allows a predetermined quantity of powder to fall into the container under a difference in the pressures between inside and outside the container. The powder supplier includes a hopper having an outlet port. The container has an inlet neck portion engageable with a nozzle secured to the low pressure chamber. The nozzle is connected to the outlet port of the hopper. A buffering member is disposed at a space from the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 5337794
Abstract: A powder filling apparatus for filling a container with powder is provided. In the powder filling apparatus, a bottle is carried into a plurality of work units moving around successively. While the work units move to work stations disposed in a circumferential direction successively, the bottle is filled with powder by equally evacuating the inside and the outside of the container and dropping powder into the container simultaneously with raising the pressure outside the container. The bottle filled with powder is then taken out from the work units successively while the work units move around.

  • Patent number: 5307689
Abstract: A mass flowmeter has a U-shaped sensor tube provided on a support base which is supported on a vibration absorbing member, and both ends of the sensor tube are respectively connected to an inlet and an outlet of a manifold. Vibrators are provided at an intermediate part of each straight tube part provided between the inlet and outlet sides of the sensor tube. Pickups are provided on the upstream and downstream sides of each vibrator so as to detect the displacement of the sensor tube. An external vibration is in an opposite direction between the inlet and outlet sides relative to the vibrating direction. Hence, outputs of the pickups located on the upstream sides of the vibrators are added, and outputs of the pickups located on the downstream sides of the vibrators are added. The external vibration is cancelled by obtaining a phase difference of the two added values.
