Abstract: The disclosure provides a capturing apparatus and a capturing method for the capturing apparatus. The method includes steps: controlling the capturing unit to capture an image; performing an image processing function in relation to the captured image to obtain pixels of the captured image; comparing the pixels of the captured image with the pixels of the pre-stored standard images and determining whether a percentage of the pixels of the image is similar to the pixels of one of the standard images. If the percentage of the pixels of the image reaches a threshold of similarity to the pixels of one standard image, acquiring the parameters associated with the standard image; and controlling the capturing unit to capture subsequent images according to the parameters associated with the standard image.

Abstract: A system capable of sharing web data includes a number of clients communicable with each other. The clients communicate with network servers. The client includes a content accessing module, a storage module, a page loading module, and a browser module. The content accessing module accesses web pages on the network servers in response to a user's requests from the client and stores the accessed web pages in the storage module. The stored accessed web pages are accessible by the client and the remaining clients. The page loading module loads web pages from storage modules of the remaining clients. The browser module displays the web pages loaded by the page loading module. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: An overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuit includes a connection jack, an overvoltage protection switch connected to the connection jack, an overcurrent protection switch, a voltage reference module, an overvoltage and overcurrent detection module, a comparing module, and a current control module. The overcurrent protection switch is connected to the overvoltage protection switch in serials, and further connected to a load. The voltage reference module is to output a reference voltage. The overvoltage and overcurrent detection module is to detect the voltage of the load and the current of the path. The comparing module is to compare the voltage of the load with the reference voltage, when greater, turns off the overvoltage protection switch, when not greater, turns on the overvoltage protection switch. The current control module is to turn off the overcurrent protection switch if greater than the preset value, and turn on the overcurrent protection switch if not greater.

Abstract: An electronic device with a function of searching images based on a facial feature is provided. The electronic device includes a capturing unit, a storage unit, an acquiring module, a searching module, and a folder establishing module. The capturing unit captures facial images. The storage unit stores a plurality of images. The acquiring module acquires facial features of the facial image captured by the capturing unit. The searching module searches for images that include the acquired facial feature from the plurality of images stored in the storage unit. The folder establishing module establishes a new folder and stores the searched images to the established new folder.

Abstract: An apparatus for displaying sub page content includes a display unit, a storage unit, and a processing unit. The apparatus communicates with a network server. The processing unit obtains a webpage from the network server and one or more sub pages linked to the webpage. The display unit displays a first window for displaying label of each sub page designating a type which is binding with each sub page. The processing unit controls the display unit to display a second window for displaying the sub page content of the label displayed on the first window which is determined to be selected according to whether operation position of user's operation performed on the first window is on the area of the label of sub page displayed. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A current leakage protection circuit includes a first input terminal, a second input terminal for receiving a power voltage and a current leakage detection terminal configured for detecting a current leakage from an electronic device. A control circuit of the current leakage protection circuit is configured for providing a control signal to control a first switch circuit to switch off a first connection between the first input terminal and a first output terminal and to control a second switch circuit to switch off a second connection between the second input terminal and a second output terminal when the current leakage detection terminal detects current leakage of the electronic device.

Abstract: A system and a method of detecting abnormal or security-significant segments of a video are provided. The video is divided into several segments. A set of features of each segment of the video is extracted in order to calculate a set of factors corresponding to each segment. A value deemed abnormal of each segment is calculated according to the set of factors corresponding to each segment. One or more abnormal segments are determined from the segments based on the abnormal values. The set of features includes a color variable feature, a movement variable feature, a movement variable ratio feature and a background variable feature.

Abstract: A data converter includes a signal input port, a processing unit, and an output port. The signal input port includes a number of ports for connecting to corresponding ports of an electronic device and receiving waveform signals from the electronic device. The processing unit includes a port detection module for detecting which port of the signal input port is receiving the waveform signals and a data conversion module including a number of conversion sub-modules, each conversion sub-module corresponds to one port of the signal input port. When the port detection module detects the port receiving the waveform signals, the conversion sub-module corresponding to the detected port is enabled and converts the waveform signals to digital data. Then the output port outputs the digital data to a computer, and the communication state of the port of the electronic device is analyzed via the computer based on the digital data.

Abstract: An electronic device tester is connected to an electronic device needed to be tested. A test program is stored in a data storage of the tester. The test program includes a number of test instructions. The tester encapsulates the test instructions of the test program to a number of script files, stores the script files to the data storage, and records a name of each script file to the test program. After the test instruction is encapsulated, the tester selects desired script files of the test program and calls the selected script files according to the names of the script files to implement the test program to test the electronic device.

Abstract: A mobile communication terminal includes a first SIM card, a second SIM card, a surfing detecting module, a bandwidth detecting module, and a control module. The first SIM card uses a first payment mode to pay for surfing the Internet according to bandwidth used. The second SIM card uses a second payment mode to pay for surfing the Internet according to time used. The surfing detecting module detects whether the mobile communication terminal is connected to the Internet. The bandwidth detecting module detects the bandwidth used. The control module enables one of the first and the second SIM cards according to the bandwidth used.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a webpage design system including a storage and a processor. The storage stores a number of ActiveX controls, a number of ActiveX control description files each describing a corresponding one ActiveX control, and a number of modules. The modules include instructions executable by the processor to provide a webpage interface for a user to design a webpage. The webpage interface includes an ActiveX control option for the user to select at least one desired ActiveX control. The modules further include instructions executable by the processor to position the selected ActiveX control in a designed webpage under construction, provide a search interface for the user to input a description of a desired function, and search in the ActiveX control description files according to the description to determine whether at least one ActiveX control having the desired function exists in the storage.

Abstract: A method for controlling a normally closed relay includes: providing power to at least one of a first electromagnet and a second electromagnet via a power input port, then cause a first actuation member and a second actuation member to separate from each other, and the relay is then in an open state; and stopping providing power to the at lease one first electromagnet and the second electromagnet which being powered by the power input port such that the first actuation member and the second actuation member makes contact with each other, and the relay is then in a closed state.

Abstract: A telephone switchboard provides various operating voltages to a telephone in different operation modes. The telephone switchboard includes a control unit, an output control circuit and a voltage converter. The control unit detects the operation mode of a telephone and generates control signals to the output control unit. The output control unit controls direction of current flowing through the telephone according to the control signal, and generates a feedback signal according to any change in the operation mode of the telephone. The voltage converter receives the feedback signal and converts the received power to a suitable output operation voltage according to the feedback signal. The telephone switchboard is capable of providing various operation voltages to the telephone in the different operation modes.

Abstract: An ADC includes an analog signal input port for receiving analog signals, a reference voltage generation circuit for producing a reference voltage, a controllable switch, a control unit including a counter, an integral circuit, and a comparison circuit. The control unit outputs an on or off signal to turn on or turn off the controllable switch, the counter starts to count when the control unit outputs the off signal. The integral circuit executes an integral action to integrate the reference voltage and output a voltage enhanced gradually when the controllable switch is turned off. The comparison circuit outputs an interrupt signal to cause the counter to stop counting when comparing the voltage output by the integral circuit is higher than the voltage of the analog signals. The control unit determines a digital value corresponding to the analog signals according to a count value of counted by the counter.

Abstract: An exemplary electronic device is connected with an earphone. The earphone includes a first storage unit storing information as to functions of the earphone. The electronic device includes a second storage unit storing a function information table recording information as to user-controllable functions of the electronic device, function units corresponding to the user-controllable functions, an identifying module, and a control module. The identifying module retrieves the information as to functions stored in the first storage unit, and determines whether one or more of the controllable functions of the electronic device are controllable by the earphone. The control module activates all of the function units corresponding to the controllable functions of the electronic device which are controllable by the earphone, and controls one or more of the activated function units according to one or more control signals transmitted from the earphone to the electronic device. A related method is also provided.

Abstract: A remote controller includes a processor, a display unit, a input unit, a communicator. The processor is configured to generate a mode interface. The display unit is configured to display the mode interface. The input unit is configured to generate control commands under the condition that a user presses the input unit according to the mode interface displayed on the display unit. The processor generates a plurality of remote control signals according to the control commands and transmits the remote control signals to a communicator. The communicator is configured to emit remote control signals to at least two electric appliances to control at least two electric appliances. A remote control method using the remote controller is also provided.

Abstract: A touch method is applied in a touch device. The touch device includes a display unit, first infrared receivers, first infrared emitters, second infrared receivers, second infrared emitters, a storage unit, and motors. The first infrared receivers and the first infrared emitters are arranged on a first side of the display unit, and the second infrared receivers and the second infrared emitters are arranged on a second side of the display unit. The storage unit stores a table recording a relationship between identification and set of coordinates of the infrared receivers. The method includes: controlling motors to drive infrared emitters and infrared receivers to rotate; determining whether electrical signals comprising the identification of one first infrared receiver and one second infrared receiver are simultaneously received; if yes, determining the set of coordinates of the touch spot; determining an icon and determining the corresponding function corresponding to the touch spot.

Abstract: A display system includes a primary display device and a secondary display device. The display system further comprises a first detecting unit, a storage unit, and a processor. The first detecting unit is configured for detecting if the secondary display device is adjacent to the primary display device. The first detecting unit generates a detecting signal in the condition that the secondary display device is detected to be adjacent to the primary display device. The storage unit configured for storing a picture. The processor receives the detecting signal, divides the picture into a primary part and a secondary part according to the detecting signal. The processor controls the primary display device to display the primary part of the picture and controls the secondary display device to display the secondary part of the picture. A method of dividing and displaying a picture using the display system is also provided.

Abstract: An electronic accessory for an electronic device includes an audio processing circuit. The audio processing circuit includes a first switch circuit, an echo cancellation circuit and an amplification circuit. The echo cancellation circuit removes echoes from a first voice signal from a user in a call and a second voice signal from a caller, outputs the first voice signal to the electronic device via the first switch circuit, and outputs the second voice signal to the amplification circuit. The amplification circuit amplifies the second voice signal. The amplification circuit further directly receives and amplifies a third voice signal from multimedia content stored in the electronic device via the first switch circuit.

Abstract: An illumination apparatus includes a power supply, a pulse width modulation (PWM) circuit, a switching unit, and an illuminating unit. The power supply supplies a supply voltage to the PWM circuit and the illuminating unit. The PWM circuit outputs a first level voltage by being fully charged by the voltage of the power supply and outputs a second level voltage by being fully discharged. The switching unit is turned off according to the first level voltage and controls the illuminating unit to stop emitting light. The switching unit is turned on according to the second level voltage and controls the illuminating unit to emit light.
