    Abstract: A shank of a hand tool includes two opposite surfaces which are terminated at a rear end of the function end at each of two ends of the shank and two ridges extend from two sides of each of the two opposite surfaces of the shank. The two ridges start from the function end and end at the other function end. The ridges reinforce the structural strength of the shank and provide a larger friction between the hand of the user and the shank.

    Abstract: Wrench capable of avoiding detachment of a screw-thread member. The wrench is used to fit onto a polygonal screw-thread member, including: a handle section; a head section disposed at one end of the handle section and formed with a polygonal fitting hole; at least one channel formed on the inner circumference of the fitting hole along the axis of the fitting hole; and at least one slide member up and down movably disposed in the channel and partially protruding into the fitting hole, the sliding travel of the slide member having an upper and a lower dead ends. The wrench can be fitted onto the screw-thread member from both ends of the fitting hole and the slide member can be pushed by the screw-thread member and moved to any of the dead ends and stopped thereby. The screw-thread member is stopped by the slide member from slipping out of the wrench.

    Abstract: Pliers for use in a narrow space, including: a pair of neck sections which are pivotally connected with each other by a shaft rod and can be opened and closed; a pair of jaw sections located on one end of the neck sections in the same direction to define a pliers mouth; and two grips disposed at the other ends of the neck sections for a user's hands to hold and control the jaw sections to open or close. At least one of the grips is pivotally connected with a corresponding neck section, whereby the grip can be rotated about an axis parallel to a longitudinal direction of the pliers into different operation aspects and adapted to different operation sites.

    Abstract: Push bar-type ratchet wrench with high torque strength, including: a stem body having a holding end formed with a slide way transversely passing through the holding end, the slide way having a cross-section with a first longer axis parallel to a plane face of the holding end and a second shorter axis normal to the first axis; a ratchet rotatably positioned in the through hole; a push bar having a detent section and slidably positioned in the slide way, the push bar having a cross-section with a longer horizontal axis and a shorter vertical axis, the horizontal axis and vertical axis of the push bar respectively corresponding to the first axis and second axis of the slide way; and a locating member positioned in the stem body for resiliently pushing the push bar, whereby the detent section is resiliently engaged with the ratchet. The detent section is engaged with the ratchet at a higher position for increasing the torque strength and operation sensitivity thereof.
