  • Publication number: 20180300568
Abstract: A method for detecting and warning about a human or animal left in a vehicle by a user includes detecting whether the vehicle is in a first condition of engine off and in a second condition of being locked. An image obtaining device is controlled to capture images of interior of the vehicle when the vehicle meets the first and second conditions. Presence of a human or animal is detected by analyzing the images of the current environment inside the vehicle. A preset prompt is transmitted when a human or animal is detected.

  • Publication number: 20130088708
Abstract: An apparatus for optically detecting foreign object in a tunnel of a valuable document validator includes a light emitter, a light detector, a beam splitter, a beam combiner, a first reflector and a second reflector. The beam splitter splits a light beam emitted from the light emitter into a first beam and a second beam. The beam combiner combines the first beam and the second beam and transmits the combined light beam to the light detector. The first reflector reflects the second beam. The second reflector receives the second beam reflected by the first reflector and reflects the second beam to the beam combiner.

  • Publication number: 20130066549
Abstract: An exemplary navigation device includes an input unit, a storage unit, a GPS detector, a driving recorder, a gyroscope, and a processor. The input unit is to receive user input. The storage unit stores map database comprising road maps. The positioning detector is to detect the geographical position of a vehicle. The driving recorder is to capture video. The gyroscope is to detect the turn angle of the vehicle. Firstly, the processor determines a driving route. Then, obtains the geographical position of the vehicle, obtains video, obtains road map, obtains turn angle of the vehicle, and determine the lane that the vehicle is in according to the captured video. Next, generates indications according to the determined driving route, the road map, the lane that the vehicle is in, the turn angle of the vehicle, and the geographical position of the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20130050679
Abstract: A light source module (13) mainly includes a plurality of light emitting units (132) and a lens array (133). The light emitting units (132) are arranged along a predetermined direction and respectively emit lights. The lens array (133) has a plurality of lens units (134) connected together along an axis (I) parallel to the predetermined direction. The lens units (134) each receive the lights emitted from the light emitting units (132). Each of the lens units (134) has a convex surface (135) intersecting with the light emitting direction of the light emitting units (132). The convex surface (135) is constituted by a first arc line (136) rotated with respect to the axis (I). The convex surface (135) also has a second arc line (137) perpendicularly intersecting with the first arc line (136). The radius of curvature of the first arc line (136) is longer than the radius of curvature of the second arc line (137).

  • Publication number: 20130002822
Abstract: A product ordering system storing the information of 3D product models including data for forming each of the 3D product models and the scale of each of the 3D product models. A method for ordering a product using the system includes first capturing an image. Then, sensing the distance between the image capturing unit and the user, next, obtaining specific image data from the captured image according to one selected 3D product model, then, converting life size data needed to form a 3D model of the user according to the focus of the image capturing unit and the sensed distance. After that, generating a 3D model of the user according to the scale of the 3D product model, and overlaying the selected 3D product model with the 3D model of the user and displaying the combination for viewing by the user.

  • Publication number: 20120330663
Abstract: An identity authentication method is applied on a system. The system is connected to an external storage device storing a first voice model. The system includes an information server and a terminal. The information server includes a database. The information server executes the following steps. First, receiving the first voice model transmitted by the terminal. Second, determining whether the first voice model matches one second voice model, and transmitting the verification result to the terminal. The terminal executes the following steps. First, generating a prompt to prompt the user to input voice signals. Second, receiving the input voice signals. Third, extracting voice features from the input voice signals. Fourth, determining whether the extracted voice features matches the first voice model. Fifth, determining the verification result is successful when matches, and determining the identity authentication is success only when two verification results are both successful.

  • Publication number: 20070104355
Abstract: A test tool used by a skin pattern reader includes a flexible body and a fixing clamp. The flexible body has a lumpy surface or a flat surface. The flexible body is made of material having a refractive index the same as human skin. The fixing clamp is used to fix the flexible body. The fixing clamp also drives the flexible body to let its lumpy surface press close to the skin pattern reader, so as to perform related function testing of the skin pattern reader. Through a flexible body having a refractive index similar to human skin, a standardized golden sample can be established, and drawbacks in the prior art caused by a flat sheet of paper having alternately-arranged stripes or by the skin pattern of the testee can also be solved.
