Abstract: An anti-theft device for attachment to a steering wheel of an automotive vehicle having a movable tubular member fitting movably around an elongate rod member to adjust the distance in relation to the rod member so as to catch hold of a portion of a steering wheel with a double hook and a stop plate provided at one end of the rod member and a bent plate provided under the tubular member, and the tubular member being locked at an adjusted position by means of a lock including a steel ball engaging one of annular grooves provided on a portion of the rod member.

Abstract: An antitheft device for attachment to a steering wheel of an automobile comprising an elongated body member having two parallel passageways extending in a longitudinal direction. A first hook is secured to the body member for engagement with a portion of the steering wheel. The first hook engages the wheel from the inside of the rim, with the body member extending outward beyond the periphery of the steering wheel, an elongated rod member, adapted to move in telescopic fashion in one of two passageways formed in the body member, and extending longitudinally therein. A second hook, secured to the rod member, engages the inside portion of the steering wheel at a point diametrically opposed to that of the first hook. A second elongated rod member is adapted to extend in telescopic fashion in a direction opposite to that of the other rod member.

Abstract: An automobile steering wheel lock consists of an elongated tube member, a housing, an elongated rod member and a lock mechanism. The improvement of the automobile steering wheel lock is in the lock mechanism which is inserted in a lower chamber of the housing. The lock mechanism is combined by a locking member, a sleeve, a bearing member and an actuator. The sleeve defining a hollow cylinder has a bottom groove mounted by a projection of the locking member. The bearing member having a bottom cylindrical projection retained by a powerful spring is capable of passing through the sleeve and being inserted in a central circular groove of the projection of the locking member.

The first hook engages the wheel from the inside of the rim, with the body member extending outward beyond the periphery of the steering wheel. An elongated tubular member adapted to move in telescopic fashion within the passageway of the body member, along it axis, includes a second hook, secured thereto, for engaging the inside portion of the steering wheel at a point diametrically opposed to the first hook. A rod membr, adapted to move in telescopic fashion within the tubular member, is provided for preventing the steering wheel from complete rotation.
