  • Publication number: 20190303815
Abstract: Various embodiments of systems and methods for distributed manufacturing are described herein. The method includes identifying a time window for executing an order for a product comprising various components. A task allocator is executed to read data related to the product to generate manufacturing topology of the product representing components with nodes and their manufacturing inter-dependency with edges. Based upon the manufacturing topology, supplier's timeline topology of the product is generated to indicate time taken to manufacture the product by respective suppliers. The generated suppliers' timeline topologies are merged with time inter-dependency relationship between each node to generate production timeline topology of the product. Routes from nodes without predecessor nodes to nodes without successor nodes in the production timeline topology is generated. An optimal route having minimum manufacturing cost of the product is selected.

  • Patent number: 10365269
Abstract: This disclosure describes a cell genetically modified to detect ribosome inhibition in the cell and methods involving such a cell. Generally, the genetically-modified cell includes an aminoglycoside-sensitive orthogonal 16S rRNA (O-16S) coding region bearing a mutated anti-Shine-Dalgarno (O-ASD) sequence, a repressor/operator system, and a polynucleotide encoding a detectable reporter under transcriptional control of the repressor/operator system. The repressor/operator system includes a coding region that encodes a transcriptional regulator and having an orthogonal SD (O-SD) sequence complementary to the 16S rRNA O-ASD sequence. The operator sequence, which is repressable by the transcriptional regulator, is operably linked to the polynucleotide encoding a detectable reporter.

  • Patent number: 9303729
Abstract: A gearbox assembly (10) configured for easy to assembling comprises a plurality of gears (30) configured to spin within a plurality of inner gear rings (20, 22). Fixing mechanisms (40) are axially inserted from the input side (12) of the gearbox, thereby allowing for a connector (90) to be attached to the output shaft (62) of the gearbox prior to gearbox assembling.

  • Publication number: 20070153139
Abstract: An entertainment console installed in a vehicle includes a docking bay for docking portable entertainment devices, such as portable media players (PMPs). A base of the console may be attached to the passenger compartment ceiling, with a display that can be flipped down from the base. A docked PMP can be played through the console. Video may be rendered on the console screen, while audio may be played through the console speaker(s), headphone jacks available on the console, or the speakers of the vehicle's audio system. Power for the PMP's operation is provided by the vehicle's electrical system. The console may also include additional docking bay(s), enabling simultaneous docking of multiple PMPs that may be played at the same time. A presentation from one PMP (e.g., a DVD player) can also be recorded on another PMP (e.g., a hard drive-based player). The screen may rotate around the vertical axis.
