Abstract: An analytics reporting computing device for generating a region report of a geographic region is described. The analytics reporting computing device is configured to receive a request for a region report, the request identifying a geographic region including a plurality of sub-regions and at least one selected region characteristic, and identify each sub-region. The analytics reporting computing device is also configured to retrieve transaction data and influence data associated with the geographic region, the influence data including electronic data representing user online social behavior. The analytics reporting computing device is further configured to, for each sub-region, determine a respective index score of the selected region characteristic based upon portions of the transaction data and influence data associated with each sub-region.

The apparatus comprises: a computer processor and a data storage device, the data storage device having a look-up module; a value determination module; and an account creation information generation module comprising non-transitory instructions operative by the processor to: receive an indication of a travel document of a passenger; look up passenger details of the passenger, in a passenger information database coupled to the apparatus, using the indication of the travel document of the passenger; receive an indication of a currency deposit by the passenger; determine a value from the indication of the currency deposit; and generate account creation information, the account creation information comprising an indication of the passenger details of the passenger and an indication of the value.

Abstract: A computer implemented method of identifying customer segments from transaction data is provided. The method includes receiving transaction data that includes transaction indications. Each transaction indication includes an indication of a transaction date and a cardholder identifier. The method also includes classifying spending behavior of a cardholder in a first period into classifications from a plurality of classifications and further classifying spending behavior of the cardholder in a second period into classifications from a plurality of classifications. The method also includes comparing the classification of the spend behavior of the cardholder in the first period with the classification of the spend behavior of the cardholder in the second period and associating the cardholder with one of a plurality of customer segments based on a result of the comparison.

Abstract: Method and system for displaying an advertisement on a payment card. The method may be executed using a computer coupled to a database and the payment card may comprise a display screen. The method includes: retrieving, using the computer, an advertisement stored on the database; and transmitting the advertisement from the computer to the payment card for displaying the advertisement on the display screen, wherein at least one pre-defined rule is applied to determine the retrieval of the advertisement from the database and/or transmittal of the advertisement to the payment card.
