  • Patent number: 11603606
Abstract: Shown are thermo-fusible conjugate fibers having a high degree of crystallinity, while a degree of orientation is suppressed, and a bulky and soft nonwoven fabric using the same. The thermo-fusible conjugate fibers have, as a first component, a polyester-based resin, and as a second component, an olefin-based resin having a melting point lower than a melting point of the first component, in which the degree of orientation in the polyester-based resin is 6.0 or less, and the degree of crystallinity therein is 20% or more. The conjugate fibers are preferably sheath-core conjugate fibers in which the first component is a core component and the second component is a sheath component.

  • Patent number: 6147152
Abstract: A polypropylene resin composition is diclosed which comprises (a) 50-80% by weight of a specific polypropylene/ethylene-propylene copolymer composition, (b) 5-40% by weight of a specific ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer rubber, (c) 1-10% by weight of a specific hydrogenated diene block copolymer, and (d) 10-30% by weight of talc, wherein the polypropylene component of the component (a) has a melt flow rate of 100-1,000 g/10 min and a C.sub.f value (cross fractionation ratio) of not more than 0.5. The resin composition has excellent flowability and can impart excellent rigidity, high-temperature rigidity and impact resistance, and well-balanced combination thereof to the molded articles.

  • Patent number: 6005034
Abstract: A propylene-ethylene copolymer composition is obtained which has good moldability and an excellent balance of rigidity, toughness, and impact-strength. The composition has a melt flow rate of 10 to 300 g/10 minutes and is obtained by producing 60 to 95% by weight, based on the weight of whole polymer, of a propylene polymer having a melt flow rate (ASTM D1238) in the range of 100 to 1,000 g/10 minutes and having a ratio (Cf) of integrated values of the propylene polymer dissolved in o-dichlorobenzene at a temperature of lower than 112.degree. C., and a temperature of 112.degree. C. or higher, respectively, of 0.5 or less, by carrying out polymerization of propylene in the presence of a highly stereoregular catalyst and hydrogen in a polymerization step (I), and then producing 5 to 40% by weight, based on the weight of whole polymer, of an ethylene-propylene copolymer by feeding ethylene and propylene to the propylene polymer to react so that the content of ethylene becomes 30 to 80% by weight.

  • Patent number: 5708083
Abstract: A polyolefin resin composition is disclosed which comprises(a) a crystalline propylene polymer in an amount of 40% or more to less than 95% by weight,(b) an ethylene/.alpha.-olefin rubber in an amount of from 5 to 40% by weight, and(c) a linear or branched specified block copolymer in an amount of from 0.1 to 20% by weight containing a polyethylene block segment A having a melting temperature as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter of from 80.degree. to 120.degree. C. and an ethylene/.alpha.-olefin copolymer block segment B,the total content of components (a), (b), and (c) being 100% by weight, which composition has excellent dispersibility of the rubber used, so that moldings having an excellent balance between rigidity and impact resistance are obtained therefrom, and is hence suitable for use in the field of moldings required to have rigidity and impact resistance.
