Patent number: 10119588Abstract: [Object] Damage to a surface of a resin bush caused by press-fitting is prevented even when a configuration for positioning during welding is added. [Solving Means] A rolled collar (40) is a steel rolled collar into which a resin bush (90) is pressed-fitted, and which is joined to a joining member by welding. The rolled collar includes a main body part (50) formed in a hollow cylindrical shape, and a clinch part that joins both end surfaces of the main body part together by fitting. The rolled collar includes a notch part (70) formed by cutting off a portion of an annular edge (53) in the main body part. Here, a convex jig determining a position of the main body part at a time of welding is fit into the notch part. The rolled collar includes a cavity part (80) formed to be hollow from an inner circumferential surface side on a wall surface around the notch part to form a clearance (81) between the press-fitted resin bush and an edge portion (71) of the notch part on the inner circumferential surface side.Type: GrantFiled: March 25, 2014Date of Patent: November 6, 2018Assignee: Yorozu CorporationInventors: Yutaka Kuroi, Shingo Yokoyama

Patent number: 7616295Abstract: A biometric identification apparatus that can accurately and rapidly perform liveness detection with a simple structure. The apparatus includes a plurality of light sources 102, 103, 106, and 107, each having a wavelength different from one another, for emitting light to a finger 200 as an object to be identified, and receivers 104 and 105 for detecting the light passing through the finger. The ratio of the light emitted from the light sources to the light detected with the receivers is obtained as transmittance. Determination in liveness detection is made by comparing the transmittance with a previously-set threshold of transmittance.Type: GrantFiled: January 29, 2007Date of Patent: November 10, 2009Assignee: Hitachi Media Electronics Co., Ltd.Inventors: Shingo Yokoyama, Tadayuki Abe, Hiromi Sugo, Shoichi Sato

Publication number: 20070259992Abstract: Conventional nanocomposites using swelling layered silicates, which are low specific gravity and have markedly improved heat resistance, rigidity and gas barrier compared with talc or mica filling composites, are available. They are, however, much inferior to glass fiber filling composites (FRP) for rigidity and heat resistance if not regarding difference of specific gravity and they may not respond to current high level requirements. The inventors have found that an organic-inorganic composite can be formed by substituting K ions between layers of high-crystalline non-swelling layered silicates composed of mica and having primary particles of large particle size with any positive charged organic compound under specific conditions, leading to completion of the invention which enables production of polymer composite materials having the layered silicates delaminated and dispersed.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2005Publication date: November 8, 2007Applicant: NATIONAL INSTITUTE FOR MATERIALS SCIENCEInventors: Kenji Tamura, Hirohisa Yamada, Shingo Yokoyama, Tsutomu Sato
