    Abstract: An energy storage device includes an electrode body and an outer packaging. The outer packaging seals the electrode body. The outer packaging is constituted by a film-like outer packaging member. The outer packaging includes a first sealing portion sealed by joining surfaces that face each other in a state in which the outer packaging member is wrapped around the electrode body. A base portion of the first sealing portion is formed at the boundary between a first surface and a second surface of the outer packaging. The first surface has a larger area than the second surface. The first sealing portion does not overlap the first surface in a plan view.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a carrier tape for electronic components comprising a flexible tape material having embossed portions for storing electronic components at regular intervals in the lengthwise direction of the tape, characterized in that each of the opposing first and third side walls of the embossed portion which are positioned at both sides of the lengthwise direction of the tape, has a pair of first protrusions A for preventing the electronic component from transverse shaking which protrude inwardly in the embossed portion, and optionally further has, between the protrusions A, a plurality of second protrusions B for preventing the electronic component from longitudinal shaking which differ in shape from the protrusions A. According to one preferred embodiment of the present invention, the carrier tape for electronic components has, at the bottom surface of the embossed portion, two or more central protuberances in the direction perpendicular to the lengthwise direction of the carrier tape.

    Abstract: There are provided a process for producing a two-layered tape for TAB, which comprises forming desired holes in a semi-cured polyamic acid film formed on a release film or in a semi-cured polyamic acid film subjected to stretching of 10% or more, then pressure-bonding the resulting film or film laminate to a conductor foil or a conductor foil on which a semi-cured light-transmittable polyamic acid film is formed, so that the polyamic acid film and the conductor foil contact with each other or the two polyamic acid films contact with each other, conducting imidization, and thereafter forming a desired pattern in the conductor foil; a process for producing a stretched polyamic acid film by subjecting a polyamic acid film to stretching of 10% or more; and a process for producing a flexible base board for printed circuit or a flexible printed circuit board with a cover layer, both using said stretched polyamic acid film.
