  • Publication number: 20090013025
Abstract: A model transmission apparatus used when producing a system model. In the model transmission apparatus, models are transmitted between first computers and a second computer. The second computer includes a second transmission device that transmits a system model to each of the first computers. When the system model is transmitted, component models included in the system model are concealed. When at least one of the concealed component models included in the system model matches at least one corresponding component model stored in the first storage device of at least one of the first computers, the at least one of the first computers automatically replaces the at least one of the concealed component models included in the system model with the at least one corresponding component model stored in the first storage device of the at least one of the first computers.

  • Publication number: 20090012764
Abstract: In a system model production support apparatus and method, plural partial models are stored along with input/output information for each partial model; an input-side portion of the system model is produced by sequentially selecting the partial models constituting the input-side portion from among the stored partial models in an order starting from the partial model closest to an input-side end of the system model, based on input information for the system model, and the input/output information for each partial model, and sequentially connecting the selected partial models; an output-side portion of the system model is produced by sequentially selecting the partial models constituting the output-side portion from among the stored partial models in an order starting from the partial model closest to an output-side end of the system model, based on output information for the system, and the input/output information for each partial model, and sequentially connecting the selected partial models; and the produced

  • Patent number: 7343887
Abstract: An abnormality diagnosis system 100 includes a VVT controller 110, an adjustable valve mechanism 120, a cam angle sensor 130, a model computation module 140, an abnormality detection module 150, and an alarm lamp 160. The adjusable valve mechanism 120 advances or delays a phase angle of an intake cam shaft relative to a crankshaft, thereby varying an open-close timing of a valve. The model computation module 140 computes a physical behavior of the adjustable valve mechanism 120 according to a physical model, in response to a control signal input from the VVT controller 110. The abnormality detection module 150 determines whether the adjustable valve mechanism 120 is abnormal or normal, based on a difference between a theoretical value of phase angle calculated according to the physical model and an observed value of phase angle measured with the cam angle sensor 130. The arrangement of the invention ensures highly accurate abnormality diagnosis of the adjustable valve mechanism 120.

  • Patent number: 5984432
Abstract: Hydraulic pressure control apparatus wherein a pressure difference across a seating valve disposed in a fluid passage acts on a valve member for placing the seating valve in an open state, while an elastic member biases the valve member for placing the seating valve in a closed state, and a valve driving device operated with an electric current applied thereto generates a drive force acting on the valve member so as to open the seating valve. A control device for controlling the electric current includes a stepping controller for incrementing the amount of the electric current when the seating valve is operated from the closed state into the open state, such that an increment of the electric current decreases with an increase in the pressure difference. The hydraulic pressure control apparatus may be suitably used in a vehicle braking system, for controlling fluid pressure in wheel brake cylinder.

  • Patent number: 5765929
Abstract: A braking control system for a motor vehicle in which various braking controls, including an antiskid braking control and a traction control, are realized comprehensively, accurately and smoothly without being based on the slip factor of a wheel. The actual wheel speed (Wvr) of the rear wheel side is detected, and the desired wheel speed (Wrf) of the front wheel side is set so as to be lower than the actual wheel speed (Wvr). Besides, the actual wheel speed (Wvf) of the front wheel side is detected, and the deviation (ef) between the actual wheel speed (Wvf) and the desired wheel speed (Wrf) is detected. Subsequently, the desired braking torque (Nrf) of the front wheel side is calculated from the deviation (ef) and the actual wheel speed (Wvf). Further, the desired braking torque (Nrr) of the rear wheel side is set on the basis of the desired braking torque (Nrf). The braking pressure of the braking apparatus is controlled so as to establish the desired braking torques (Nrf) and (Nrr).
