Abstract: A medical assistance device comprises: a voice dictionary used for transforming voice into characters; a storage configured to store cipher information indicating correspondence of terms included in the voice dictionary and the terms for ciphering; a voice entering part configured to enter voice; a transformer configured to transform the entered voice into a term string, based on the voice dictionary and the cipher information; a display transformer configured to transform the transformed term string into information for display; and a display controller configured to instruct a display device to display the information for display.

Abstract: Reference information such as medical-knowledge database 111 and statistical-information database 112 are stored in an information storage part 11 of a medical image processing apparatus 1. When a communication part 16 has accepted image data of a medical image and incidental information thereof from a modality 2000, an information changing part 12 compares this incidental information with the reference information stored in the information storage part 11, and changes medical information included in this incidental information. An information updating part 13 updates the statistical-information database 112 and so on based on a result of change of the incidental information. With this configuration, it becomes possible to automatically correct the incidental information.

Thereafter, the classified medical data are stored in the same optical disk, or the same clustered data recording region of the optical disk in order to effectively search/retrieve desirable medical data from a plurality of optical disks based upon the classification item covering this desirable medical data.

Abstract: According to a scan planning method for obtaining any tomographic image by a CT system, projection data of a plurality of parallel slices is acquired by a computed tomographic scanning device. The tomographic images are interpolated in accordance with the tomographic data of the slices which is obtained by the CT scanning device thereby providing the three-dimensional image data. A three-dimensional object image is then displayed on a display in accordance with the three-dimensional image data. A viewpoint for the object image changes, and an orientation angle of the object image changes in accordance with a manually input coordinate information. A slice position image representing the designated position and angle of the slice is displayed three-dimensionally in accordance with the coordinate information. The CT scanning device is controlled in accordance with the position and angle of the slice position image with respect to the object image.
