Abstract: Substituted benzylcycloalkenylurea derivatives of the formula (I) ##STR1## wherein X represents a halogen atom or a lower alkyl group, Y represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom,R.sup.1 represents a cycloalkenyl group andR.sup.2 represents a lower alkyl group, a cycloalkyl group, a benzyl group or a phenyl group optionally substituted by 1 to 5 substituents selected from the group consisting of a hydroxyl group or a lower alkoxy groupand their use as fungicides. They can be synthesized, for example, by reacting of a substituted benzyl-cycloalkenylamine with an isocyanate or by reacting of a carbamoyl halide with an amine. The starting material, the substituted benzyl-cycloalkenyl amines, are also new.

Abstract: Novel fungicidally active N-benzyl-cyclopropanecarboxamides of the formula ##STR1## wherein X=represents halogen,n=represents 1 or 2,R.sup.1 =represents hydrogen, halogen or lower alkyl,R.sup.2 =represents lower alkyl, halogen-substituted lower alkyl or hydrogen, andR.sup.3 =represents hydrogen or lower alkyl.The acid components thereof, other than when R.sup.1 is hydrogen or alkyl and R.sup.2 is hydrogen or alkyl, are also new.

Abstract: An insecticidal and fungicidal composition comprising (1) An insecticidally effective amount of a nitromethylene derivative of the formula ##STR1## in which X is a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, or a halogen atom,n is 0, 1 or 2 andm is 2 or 3,and a fungicidally effective amount of at least one fungicide selected from the group consisting of(2) O-ethyl S,S-diphenyl phosphorodithioate,(3) 4,5,6,7-tetrachlorophthalide,(4) 1-(4-chlorobenzyl)-1-cyclopentyl-3-phenylurea,(5) Validamycin A, 3'-iso-propoxy-2-methylbenzenilide, o-trifluoromethyl-m'-isopropoxybenzoylanilide or 6-(3,5-dichloro-4-methylphenyl-3(2H)pyridazinone, and(6) di-isopropyl-1,3-dithiolan-2-ylidenemalonate, 5-methyl-1,2,4-triazo[3,4-b]-benzothiazole, 3-allyloxy-1,2-benzisothiazole 1,1-dioxide, and 1,2,5,6-tetrahydro-4H-pyrrolo-[3,2,1-i,j]quinolin-4-one, [5-amino-2-methyl-6-(2,3,4,5,6-pentahydroxycyclohexyloxy)tetrahydropyran-3 -yl]amino-.alpha.-iminoacetic acid or S-benzyl diisopropylphosphorothiolate.

Abstract: This invention relates to 2,2-dichloro-3,3-dimethylcyclopropylmethylamine, a novel compound which is useful as an agricultural and horticultural fungicide or as a synthetic intermediate for other cyclopropyl derivatives and other compounds, and to a process for production thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to new trichloroacryloyl oxime compounds of the general formula (I) ##STR1## wherein each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, a lower alkyl group, a benzyl group, a benzylthio group, a lower alkylthio group, a cycloalkyl group, a halogen atom, a styryl group, a halogenophenylthio group, a naphthyl group, or a phenyl group which may optionally be substituted by at least one substituent selected from the class consisting of a halogen atom, a nitro group, a lower alkyl group, a lower alkoxy group, a phenoxy group, a benzyloxy group, a lower alkylthio group, a thiocyanato group, a di-lower alkylamino group, a halogenopyridyloxy group and a methylenedioxy group, or R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, together with the carbon atom to which they are bonded, may form an aliphatic ring, said ring being optionally substituted by at least one methyl group, and their use as fungicides.
