  • Patent number: 9895959
Abstract: A refrigerant circulation apparatus includes: a vehicle-interior air conditioning (2) that cools an interior of a vehicle; an on-vehicle battery cooler (3) that includes an evaporator for on-vehicle battery cooling (32) that cools an on-vehicle battery mounted on the vehicle; and an electric compressor (5) that compresses and supplies a refrigerant to at least one of the vehicle-interior air conditioning (2) and the on-vehicle battery cooling (3). The apparatus also includes: a temperature sensor (41) that detects a temperature of the electric compressor (5); a pressure sensor (42) that detects a pressure of the refrigerant compressed by the electric compressor (5); and a control unit (40) that restricts operation of the evaporator for on-vehicle battery cooling (32) to reduce load on the electric compressor (5) based on the temperature of the electric compressor (5) and the pressure of the refrigerant.

  • Patent number: 9573580
Abstract: A charge control device for a hybrid vehicle includes a driving battery supplying electric power to front and rear motors. It can switch between a normal power generation mode in which an engine is driven at a first rotational speed higher than an idling speed to generate electric power and charge the driving battery to a predetermined amount of charge, and a forced power generation mode in which the engine is forcedly driven at the first rotational speed or higher to generate electric power and charge the battery so as to maintain a higher amount of charge of the driving battery than a predetermined amount of charge, and drives the engine at an idling speed or lower to reduce an amount of electric power generation if the cooling water of the engine is a first predetermined temperature or higher when the forced power generation mode is performed.

  • Patent number: 9259990
Abstract: A vehicle heating system comprising: a coolant circuit that circulates coolant between an engine and a heater core; heating device that heats coolant, which is interposed in the coolant circuit; a pump for coolant circulation, which is interposed in the coolant circuit; and a switching valve that switches the coolant flowing through the coolant circuit between a heater-core-side circuit that circuits the coolant among the heater core, the pump and the heating device and an engine-side circuit that circulates the coolant into the engine, wherein the switching valve has a thermo valve that switches channels so that the coolant coming from the engine-side circuit enters either one of the heater-core-side circuit and the engine-side circuit according to temperature of the coolant, and a bypass that delivers the coolant, which comes from the heater-core-side circuit, to the heater-core-side circuit.
