  • Publication number: 20240144300
Abstract: Estimating means estimates first characteristic information pertaining to persons present within an area for which an estimation is made, based on first information obtained by tallying signals transmitted from terminal devices of users in the area for which the estimation is made and second information which is statistical information of the area for which the estimation is made. Based on the second characteristic information generated by an analyzing apparatus that analyzes an image, verifying means verifies the first characteristic information estimated by the estimating means. Based on the verification result of the verifying means, correcting means corrects the estimation of the first characteristic information estimated by the estimating means.

  • Patent number: 5780789
Abstract: A system for group managing plural elevator cars according to a group management algorithm including plural parameters includes a seeking apparatus for seeking the optimum parameter set, the optimum set being taken from combinations of parameter values given to the group management algorithm. Some new sets are produced by crossover or mutation in the operation of the system. Excellent sets are accumulated in a memory using additional registrations in which excellent sets are additionally stored in the memory and deletions in which impaired sets are deleted from the memory. The optimum set is selected from the accumulated sets, so that the system can efficiently seek the optimum set.

  • Patent number: 5529147
Abstract: An elevator control apparatus determines an estimated car delay when the elevator car stops at or passes an elevator hall and controls an operation of the car using the obtained estimated car delay. The elevator control apparatus includes an input data conversion unit for converting traffic data, including position of the car, direction of movement, and car calls and hall calls, such that it can be used as input data of a neural net. An estimated car delay operation unit includes an input layer for taking in the input data, an output layer for outputting the estimated car delay, and an intermediate layer provided between said input and output layers in which a weighting factor is set. An output data conversion unit converts the estimated car delay output from the output layer such that it can be used for a predetermined control operation. The estimated car delay operation unit constituting a neural net.

  • Patent number: 5412163
Abstract: An elevator control apparatus determines the time required for a call to reach a hall and controls an operation of the car using the obtained estimated travel time. The elevator control apparatus includes an input data conversion unit for converting traffic data, including car position, car direction data, and data regarding car calls and hall calls into data that can be used as input data to a neural network. An estimated travel time operation unit including an input layer is provided for taking in the input data. An output layer is provided for outputting the estimated travel time. An intermediate layer is provided between the input and output layers in which a weighting factor is set. The estimated travel time operation unit comprises a neural network and an output data conversion unit for converting the estimated travel time output from the output layer into data that can be used for a predetermined control operation.

  • Patent number: 5250766
Abstract: An elevator control apparatus capable of predicting reversion floors of elevator cages accurately. The control apparatus comprises a neural network, in which traffic state data are fetched into the neural network, so that predicted values of floors where the moving direction of each cage is reversed are calculated as predicted reversion floors. In the elevator control apparatus, reversion floors near true reversion floors can be predicted flexibly correspondingly to traffic state and traffic volume.

  • Patent number: 5083640
Abstract: A group management method and apparatus for elevators is disclosed. The apparatus includes a car-position predicting device for predicting a car position and a car direction which will have been taken by each car when a predetermined time has elapsed, a predicted-empty-car detecting device for predicting from the predicted car position and direction an empty car which will be available when the predetermined time has elapsed, and an assignment restricting device for restricting the assignment of the predicted empty car to a floor call. In the group management method, a waiting time derived from a registered floor call which is assigned to each car is evaluated, and a car to be assigned to the floor call is selected on the basis of the result of the evaluation.
