  • Patent number: 11979462
Abstract: An object of the present disclosure is to provide a data collection system and a data collection method which are capable of collecting sensing data and various pieces of metadata by a single communication protocol and capable of associating the sensing data with the metadata without errors. A data collection system 301 of the present disclosure is a data collection system that performs communication from a terminal 11 to a data collection unit 12 by a standardized communication protocol (LLDP or HTIP), in which the terminal 11 stores sensing data detected by a sensor device in an extended field different from a field in which metadata is stored, within a frame specified by the communication protocol, and the data collection unit 12 associates the sensing data with the metadata based on information for identifying the terminal described in the frame.

  • Patent number: 11955919
Abstract: An electric motor system includes a battery, an inverter, an electric motor, a zero-phase switching arm and a control unit. The inverter converts DC power output from the battery into three-phase AC power and outputs the three-phase AC power to the electric motor. A rotor of the electric motor rotates by the three-phase AC power output from the inverter. A neural point of the electric motor is connected to the zero-phase switching arm. A zero-phase current flowing through respective windings of the electric motor is adjusted by switching of the zero-phase switching arm. By this means, in the electric motor system, torque is generated at the rotor also using the zero-phase current as well as a three-phase AC current flowing through the respective windings.

  • Publication number: 20240089712
Abstract: An object is to provide a data collection device and the like capable of reducing a load on an IoT terminal in metadata transmission and power consumption associated with the metadata transmission. In the present invention, a controller is provided on a data collection side that collects metadata, the metadata transmitted from an IoT terminal is grasped, and the IoT terminal is instructed to reduce the transmission frequency of metadata that does not need high real-time property according to a sensor, the type of the IoT terminal, or the like. The IoT terminal transmits the metadata only at a window time (transmission timing, data size, metadata type, or the like) permitted by the metadata controller. As a result, the IoT terminal transmits the metadata only at a limited timing, and thus can reduce a transmission load and power consumption.

  • Patent number: 11929781
Abstract: An objective is to provide a terminal device, a communication method, and a communication system in which the time taken by connection operations/authentication operations does not increase proportionally with the pattern length, even if the transmitting side and the receiving side are not synchronized. A terminal device, a communication method, and a communication system according to the present invention create n pieces of signal information (n-bit patterns) by sequentially shifting each bit of a single piece of received signal information (n-bit pattern) one bit at a time. Through the above, signal information time-shifted by one bit each is obtained. Thus, even if the transmitting side and the receiving side are not synchronized, one of the n pieces of signal information is a signal synchronized with the transmitting side. Thereafter, the signal synchronized with the transmitting side can be detected by a brute-force calculation with the patterns (ID information) in the list.

  • Patent number: 8477338
Abstract: A print job management system includes a job maintaining unit, a user default storing unit, a determining unit, and a job providing unit. The job maintaining unit stores a print job, ID information on an owner user of the print job, and model information on a job handling printer in association with each other, the job handling printer being a printing device corresponding to the print job. The user default storing unit stores ID information on a user and information on a user default printer in association with each other, the user default printer being a printing device selected as the job handling printer by default when a print job of the user is generated. The determining unit determines a specific printing device as the user default printer corresponding to a user and updates data stored in the user default storing unit when ID information on the user is input using an input device associated with the specific printing device.

  • Patent number: 8477328
Abstract: From among identical modules stored on a module storage 112 and a module storage 212, an authenticated printing management module 130 selects the module with higher level information. For example, an ID authentication module 132 is stored in both the module storage 112 of an MFP 10 and the module storage 212 of a network interface card 11. The authenticated printing management module 130 selects the ID authentication module of the network interface card 11, in accordance with level information that represents an ID authentication module selection hierarchy. By so doing, where modules necessary for executing authenticated printing are included on both the MFP 10 and the network interface card 11, modules present on either the MFP 10 or the network interface card 11 are able to be selected appropriately for use.

  • Publication number: 20130132873
Abstract: In an image displayed on a display under a normal condition, the locations where items to choose from are located are indicated by icons. When a user touches a contact point, icons located within a predetermined range from the contact point are detected from among the icons. Then the locations of the detected icons are varied such that they are located on a circle, with the circle's center at the contact point, at equal spaces between the detected icons. A pointer graphic that indicates the original position of each icon in the original image is added to each icon.

  • Publication number: 20130132889
Abstract: In response to a content display start operation, an initial image is displayed on a display. When a user performs a scroll operation on a touch panel, monitored is whether or not a gap occurs between a first reference position set in an image to be displayed and a second reference position set on a screen associated with the first reference position. When no gap occurs, a display region is moved according to the scroll operation. When the gap occurs, the rate at which the display region moves to adjust the scroll is calculated based on the gap amount at each instant of time. And the displacement value resulting from the moving rate is added to the original position of the display region and then the display region is moved to the position. The displacement value continues to be added until the gap amount becomes zero.

  • Patent number: 7606761
Abstract: The invention provides a data output control apparatus which allows detailed information on a network to be readily obtained, which is advantageous with respect to cost, and which is suitable for specifically notifying the user of the service charge. A data output control terminal is communicatively connected via the Internet to a portable terminal carried by a user, printing apparatuses provided at various locations, and WWW servers. The data output control terminal obtains from a WWW server data associated with a data print request from the portable terminal, selects one of the plurality of printing apparatuses, and outputs the obtained data to the selected printing apparatus. Billing is executed in accordance with the result of use by the portable terminal of the print service provided by the data output control terminal. The billing is executed by summing the service charge and the call charge of the portable terminal.
