  • Publication number: 20230074258
Abstract: A chloroprene rubber composition comprising 0.8 to 4 parts by weight of 2,4,6-trimercapto-s-triazine and 0.5 to 4.5 parts by weight of tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide based on 100 parts by weight of chloroprene rubber. The chloroprene rubber composition maintains processability (scorch time) and productivity (crosslinking rate) equivalent to those of conventionally used crosslinking systems, without using substances subject to environmental regulations in crosslinking systems, and at the same time, improves physical properties, such as strength, elongation, and compression set characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20110291365
Abstract: [Problem] To provide a method for producing a rotary shaft seal that exhibits improved eccentricity-conforming properties, in which each of the initial characteristics, i.e., a torque reduction (reduced friction) and sealing properties attributed to reduced oil leakage (oil pump rate when the seal member slides), can be improved, and degradation of these characteristics can be inhibited even after friction and abrasion; and the rotary shaft seal. [Means for Solving the Problem] A method for producing a rotary shaft seal, including blending a peroxide crosslinking agent into a fluororubber polymer component including 95 to 40% by weight of a fluororubber terpolymer obtained by copolymerization with a perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether and 5 to 60% by weight of a liquid fluororubber polymer, to prepare a fluororubber composition, followed by crosslinking and molding the composition; and the rotary shaft seal.

  • Publication number: 20100311908
Abstract: Object: To provide fluororubber compositions and crosslinked fluororubber products that are suitable for use as rotary shaft seals, in which each of the initial characteristics, i.e., torque reduction (reduced friction) and sealing properties attributed to reduced oil leakage (oil pump rate when the seal member slides), can be improved, and degradation of these characteristics can be inhibited even after frictional abrasion. Solution Means: A fluororubber composition obtained by blending a polyol crosslinking agent into a fluororubber polymer including 70 to 90 wt % of a polyol-crosslinkable fluororubber polymer (A) and 30 to 10 wt % of a peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber polymer (B); and a fluororubber composition obtained by blending a polyol crosslinking agent and a peroxide crosslinking agent into a fluororubber polymer including 40 to 90 wt % of a polyol-crosslinkable fluororubber polymer (A) and 60 to 10 wt % of a peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber polymer (B).

  • Patent number: 7781508
Abstract: A rubber composition, which comprises 100 parts by weight of an ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer rubber, 5-40 parts by weight of EPDM, 1-40 parts by weight of an ?-olefin oligomer, 0.5-4 parts by weight of an organic peroxide cross-linking agent, 0.5-4 parts by weight of an amine-based vulcanizing agent, and 300-1,000 parts by weight of magnetic powder. The rubber composition is a rubber composition filled a magnetic powder at a high packing density, where an ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer rubber having amine vulcanizable groups as a binder, and effectively usable in rubber-bonded sensor magnets, etc., without any foaming at the time of vulcanization molding and with distinguished processabilities such as mold releasability, etc.

  • Publication number: 20100056694
Abstract: Providing a crosslinked fluororubber for a rotational sliding sealing which can attain a reduction in torque (friction reduction) and is effective in diminishing oil leakage thereby improving initial properties concerning sealing properties (amount of oil pumping with sliding of sealing member) and which, even after friction and wear have occurred, can inhibit decrease of these properties and can improve conformability to eccentricity, and a method for producing the same. A crosslinked fluororubber for a rotational sliding sealing, wherein a fluororubber polymer composed of 95 to 50 wt % of a polyol-crosslinkable fluororubber polymer and 5 to 50 wt % of a liquid fluororubber polymer is obtained by crosslinking with polyol alone using a polyol crosslinking agent, and a method for producing the same.

  • Patent number: 7435778
Abstract: An ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer rubber composition, which comprises 100 parts by weight of ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer rubber having an amine vulcanizable group, 0-60 parts by weight of EPDM, 5-40 parts by weight of a plasticizer, 0.5-4 parts by weight of an organic peroxide cross-linking agent, 0.5-4 parts by weight of an amine-based cross-linking agent, and preferably 0.1-0.5 parts by weight of a sulfur compound. Oil extended EPDM can be used in place of EPDM or EPDM and the plasticizer. Use of 1-30 parts by weight of ?-olefin oligomer together with 5-50 parts by weight of EPDM can improve the processability (non-adhesion of product itself to a mold or prevention of bleed occurrence).
