  • Patent number: 11651689
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for identifying on-street parking from aerial imagery. A method may include: receiving an aerial image of a geographic region; applying an object detection algorithm to the received aerial image to identify vehicle objects within the aerial image; identifying one or more clusters of vehicle objects within the aerial image; generating cluster lines for the one or more clusters of vehicle objects; map matching the cluster lines for the one or more clusters of vehicle objects to a map of the geographic region; and identifying on-street parking for a road segment in response to a cluster line of the cluster lines for the one or more clusters of vehicle objects satisfying predetermined criteria with respect to the road segment.

  • Patent number: 11421996
Abstract: An approach is provided for comparing and assimilating road lane representations. The approach, for example, receiving two cartographic feature representations (e.g., digital road lane representations). The approach also involves computing a geometric similarity between the cartographic representations. The approach further involves processing attribute data associated with the cartographic feature representations to determine a semantic relationship between the representations. The approach further involves generating a recommendation with respect to assimilating the representations based on the geometric similarity and the semantic relationship, and providing the recommendation as an output.

  • Patent number: 11085791
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product are provided for determining a location of on-street parking. The method includes receiving a plurality of individual probe points along a section of a roadway. Each individual probe point is associated with a location where each probe point was captured by one of one or more vehicles on the section of the roadway. The method also includes selecting one or more of the plurality of individual probe points based on a speed of the one or more vehicles associated with each probe point at a time the probe point was captured. The method further includes comparing the location of the selected probe points with a known roadway representation. Based on the comparison, the method also includes determining one or more groupings of a plurality of potential parking spaces along the section of the roadway. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are provided.

  • Patent number: 9258125
Abstract: Methods, systems, and products are disclosed in which generating evidence of web services transactions are provided generally by receiving in an ultimate recipient web service from an initial sender a request, the request containing a proof of message origin (‘PMO’). The PMO contains an element addressed to the ultimate recipient web service and the element bears a first signature, the first signature having a value. Embodiments also include authenticating the identity of the initial sender; creating a proof of message receipt (‘PMR’) including signing the value of the first signature; sending the PMR to the initial sender, receiving, by the initial sender, the PMR; and saving, by the initial sender, the PMR.

  • Patent number: 7231267
Abstract: In the implementation of a production process, event data corresponding to a parent event that has triggered an executable business process that has failed is logged. The event data is displayed to a user. Responsive to input from the user, a child event based on the event data is generated, and the child event is submitted to a process engine to initiate re-execution of the executable business process in accordance with the child event.
