  • Patent number: 11901607
Abstract: A mounting assembly for a base station antenna includes a pair of clamp brackets, a mounting bracket configured to be connected to the base station antenna and a lead screw sub-assembly. The lead screw sub-assembly is adapted to pivotably couple the mounting bracket to the pair of clamp brackets. The lead screw sub-assembly comprising a lead screw engaged with at least one clamp bracket of pair of clamp brackets and an adjustment bracket coupled at a first end of lead screw. The adjustment bracket is configured to allow a pivotal movement of mounting bracket with respect to pair of clamp brackets. The lead screw is rotatable within the at least one clamp bracket for adjusting a tilt angle of the base station antenna. The antenna utilizes a single mounting assembly to facilitate mounting of the antenna to the support structure.

  • Patent number: 11721897
Abstract: Base station antennas include a RET actuator, a plurality of phase shifters and a plurality of mechanical linkages, where each mechanical linkage is connected between the RET actuator and a respective one or more of the phase shifters. The RET actuator includes a rotary drive element movable in a first rotary direction and a second rotary direction. A first drive system is connected between the rotary drive element and the first mechanical linkage. The first drive system moves the first mechanical linkage in a first linear direction and a second linear direction when the rotary drive element is moved in the first rotary direction. A second drive system connected between the rotary drive element and the second mechanical linkage. The second drive system moves the second mechanical linkage in a third linear direction and a fourth linear direction when the rotary drive element is moved in the second rotary direction.

  • Patent number: 11600920
Abstract: A first mechanical linkage is connected between a RET actuator and a first phase shifter. A second mechanical linkage is connected between the RET actuator and a second phase shifter. The RET actuator includes a rotary drive element operably coupled to at least one drive gear for moving the at least one drive gear in a first rotary direction and a second rotary direction. A first drive system is connected to the first mechanical linkage and a second drive system is connected to the second mechanical linkage. The first drive system has a first driven gear and the second drive system has a second driven gear where the first driven gear and the second driven gear are coaxially located relative to one another. An index system selectively couples the at least a one drive gear to one of the first driven gear and the second driven gear.

  • Publication number: 20230041618
Abstract: A device for mounting a cross beam in a base station antenna is provided. The device comprises a first knob formed on a first wall of the device, the first knob comprising a first shaft portion and a first head portion. The device further comprises a second knob formed on a second wall of the device, the second wall is arranged adjacent to the first wall. the second knob comprising a second shaft portion and a second head portion. The first shaft portion of the first knob is adapted to be received in a keyhole defined in the cross beam of base station antenna. The second shaft portion of the second knob in adapted to be received in a first slot defined in a reflector of base station antenna. The device eliminates requirement of hardware elements such as bolts, washers etc to mount cross beam in base station antenna.
