Abstract: A system for adjusting playing volume according to a predetermined time and a method for the same are provided. The system includes a time data unit, a volume adjustment database, a volume control unit, and an audio frequency module. The time data unit generates a current time data. The volume adjustment database is built-in and configured to store an audio variation data. The audio frequency module receives and outputs an audio frequency signal. By reference to the current time data and the audio variation data, the volume control unit adjusts variation of the audio frequency signal outputted in real time, thereby enchanting audience and enhancing delivery of advertisement messages.

Abstract: A system for adjusting playing volume automatically according to ambient sound and a method for the same are provided. The system includes a volume sensing unit, a volume adjustment database, a time data unit, an audio frequency module, and a volume control unit. The volume sensing unit detects for a change of ambient sound and generates a sensing signal. The time data unit generates a current time data. The volume adjustment database is built-in and configured for storing an audio variation data. The audio frequency module receives or outputs an audio signal. The volume control unit retrieves the sensing signal, the audio variation data, and the current time data, adjusts the audio variation data according to the sensing signal, and controls variation of the audio signal outputted in real time, so as to enable automatic adjustment of playing volume and enchant audience.

Abstract: A method for announcing bus stop includes using a navigation positioning device to receive a satellite signal, retrieve current vehicle geographic longitude and latitude coordinates from the received signal, compare a databank thereof with the current geographic longitude and latitude coordinates, and, if any special position value is found, compute a distance from the current position to a next target position based on the special position value and the current geographic longitude and latitude coordinates; and using a microprocessor to compute parameters for adjusting a remaining distance and the remaining distance based on data from the navigation positioning device, or, in the event of a traffic jam in a tunnel, adjust the remaining distance according to detected vehicle speed data from a sensor, and determine whether to drive an AV device according to the remaining distance and the distance to the next target position to timely announce next bus stop.

Abstract: A monitoring protecting system and a method of the same are provided. The monitoring protecting system includes a playing unit for outputting a warning signal generated when the playing unit is detected to exhibit an abnormal state and receiving a re-starting signal to cause the playing unit to turn off the power and then re-start; a first transmitting channel for transmitting the warning signal; a second transmitting channel for transmitting the re-starting signal; and a monitoring unit for receiving the warning signal via the first transmitting channel and outputting the re-starting signal via the second transmitting channel.

Abstract: A protection system includes a multimedia unit, which is able to output a warning signal under an abnormal condition thereof and to restart on receipt of a restart signal, in which a phone number message for identifying a source of the restart signal is included; Ethernet for transmitting the warning signal output by the multimedia unit; a phoneline network for transmitting the restart signal to the multimedia unit; a supervising unit for receiving the warning signal sent via Ethernet and then outputting the restart signal via the phoneline network; and a filter unit located between the multimedia unit and the phoneline network for receiving the restart signal via the phoneline network, and being internally provided with a list of phones containing the phone number message included in the restart signal for determining whether to transmit the restart signal to the multimedia unit according to the source of the restart signal.

Abstract: A system for restarting an electric home appliance in an energy-saving manner includes an AV output unit, which outputs a warning signal under an abnormal condition thereof and is restarted on receiving a restart signal; a first communication line for transmitting the warning signal; a second communication line for transmitting the restart signal; a supervising unit for receiving the warning signal via the first communication line and then generating the restart signal; and a transmission unit for storing the restart signal generated by the supervising unit and then transmitting the restart signal to the AV output unit via the second communication line when the latter is electrically connected to the transmission unit. The transmission unit is located between the supervising unit and the second communication line and internally provided with a dialing program for electrically connecting the transmission unit to the second communication line.

Abstract: The present invention provides a broadcasting system extracting characters from images in hospital and the method of the same. The said broadcasting system extracting characters from images in hospital is adapted to transmit the characters contained in the images of the display unit to a remote end to broadcast. It comprises of an image extracting unit acquiring the frames of the display unit and converting them into a digital image information; a reading unit acquiring the digital image information of the image extracting unit and reading a character information, a transmission unit acquiring and transmitting the character information of the reading unit, and an output unit collecting and broadcasting the transmitted character information of the transmission unit.
