  • Patent number: 11824236
Abstract: A fuel cell system includes: a reaction gas supply unit configured to supply a reaction gas to a fuel cell stack; a humidifier configured to transfer moisture from an off-gas discharged from the fuel cell stack to the reaction gas; and a controller configured to control the reaction gas supply unit so as to regulate a supply amount of the reaction gas, wherein the controller is configured to acquire a temperature of the humidifier and set the supply amount of the reaction gas based on a target power generation amount of the fuel cell stack, and in a case where the temperature of the humidifier is equal to or lower than a prescribed warm-up determination value, the controller executes warm-up control to increase the supply amount of the reaction gas as compared with a case where the temperature of the humidifier is higher than the warm-up determination value.

  • Patent number: 11791481
Abstract: An ECU of a fuel cell system determines whether or not temperature information exceeds a temperature threshold for determination when receiving a signal related to power generation stop of a fuel cell stack during operation of a moving body. When the temperature information exceeds the determination temperature threshold, the ECU performs a stop control for stopping power generation of the fuel cell stack. On the other hand, when the temperature information is equal to or lower than the determination temperature threshold, the ECU performs an idle control for generating electric power smaller than electric power consumed by the air pump.

  • Publication number: 20230327153
Abstract: A fuel cell system includes a first battery, a second battery having a second battery voltage larger than the first battery voltage, and a step-down device for stepping down a voltage of the second battery. When the voltage supplied from the first battery to the control device is equal to or lower than the voltage threshold value, the control device supplies electric power to the bypass valve from the step-down device to perform opening degree learning for the bypass valve.

  • Publication number: 20230311714
Abstract: A fuel cell system includes a fuel cell and a secondary battery used as power sources of a power supply target object, and a control device for controlling driving of the power supply target object. The control device determines whether a predetermined condition required for activation of the fuel cell is satisfied, permits a battery-driven mode in which the power supply target object is driven using only the secondary battery when the predetermined condition is satisfied, and prohibits the battery-driven mode when the predetermined condition is not satisfied.

  • Publication number: 20230317987
Abstract: During startup of a fuel cell system, a control device adjusts opening degrees of a bypass valve, an inlet side stop valve, and an outlet side stop valve in a manner that the flow rate of an oxygen-containing gas in a bypass channel supplied from an oxygen-containing gas supply apparatus becomes larger than the flow rate in an oxygen-containing gas supply channel and an oxygen-containing off gas discharge channel. In this manner, during startup of the fuel cell system, while diluting concentration of a fuel gas remaining at a cathode of the fuel cell stack, the fuel gas is discharged to the outside in a short period of time.

  • Publication number: 20230178768
Abstract: A fuel cell system performs a first control of stopping power generation of a fuel cell stack by closing a supply-side stop valve during power generation of the fuel cell stack, and a second control of driving an air pump by using surplus power generated in a moving body to thereby discard the surplus power. If a closed state of the supply-side stop valve is detected when the first control and the second control start to be executed, the air pump is driven in a predetermined state.
